We'd like to come see some family in Japan, and our kids enjoy skiing. If we spend some time with the family in Okayama (which is in the centre), then maybe a week someplace else - we'd be prepared to travel in-country. Flying in and out of Narita.

I'm looking at moving to the Gulf. Advice needed. From what I can see these two; Abu Dhabi and Dubai are the ones in closest contention for me. I'm into arts and food; so I'm thinking the more laid back approach of Abu Dhabi maybe suit me better. There are more flights from where I live to Dubai, but from what I read is that Dubai will run out of oil in maybe 10 years, whereas they will keep pumping in Abu Dhabi until long after I'm gone. This will likely have an impact on property values in the near future? I don't know how reliant Dubai still is on it's oil - I'd guess a lot? What does the future hold?

I know Jordan has been traditionally safe; however in the light of recent warnings and tensions what is the feeling about western tourists visiting?

We'd like to visit Petra, Dead Sea, Wadi Rum and Mount Nebo. What are the recommendations, and is the risk factor for all these places considered the same, or should we think about dropping some from the itinerary? Any other advice that can be given?

Good Morning Travellers and Worldly People. I've been thinking about this for sometime, and now it looks like brexit is happening soon, I'm going to look for another country to live in. But where do I go? I'm not frightened to learn another language, or change my passport, I just don't feel like I want to English anymore. Ideally though I'd find someplace where they are less xenophobic than where I'm from. From my googling I can see that Barbados is supposed to be a little england, and I've been to Gibraltar but that looks very expensive. Are there any communities that "think" like English people more or less - just have a more worldly view?

My wife and I are meant to be travelling to Bali this Friday and will be staying at a number of hotels throughout the island. My wife is 10 weeks pregnant and has read articles about the Zika virus in the country. Could you please give me advise regarding Zika in the country please? As you can imagine, my wife is extremely concerned about the Zika virus so whatever information you could provide me would be greatly appreciated We have emailed each of the hotels asking what they're doing to battle the mosquitos and also the local tourist board. Many thanks for your help

I am a Danish citizen arriving at Apia later today. I am, however, going to Nepal in 12 days, and for this reason I should like to know whether it would be possible to get an inoculation for Hepatitis B and Typhoid while on Samoa? Please advice me in this case about the prices and possible consultation times.
