    • mini suite was great
We cruised on GP January 2019 in a mini suite with our two young granddaughters plenty of room, worked well for us.

It is a lovely ship, going to P & O soon and they will refit and to be called Pacific Adventurer I believe.

Hopefully they keep the buffet and don’t do the Pantry.

    • The Golden Princess is a lovely ship
I was on her last year with my two sisters.

We found the accommodation (4 berth) was a little tight for the three of us but we had a ball.

Not sure another adult would have been a good idea.

We had twin beds below and a drop down bunk bed, with ladder.

Your cabin steward will drop the bunk when he makes up the cabin in the evening.

Just make sure he also puts it up and away in the morning as on our first cruise the steward did not do so. You have more cabin space during the day that way.

We had window cabin the first cruise and a balcony on the second. Both worked fine. Enjoy.

    • was our 1st cruise
We're going on her again in Jan, she's a lovely ship I like sea princess better but golden was our 1st cruise and i was struggling to get arround and as with 1st cruises it was a learning curve, so much i didn't get to see i realize now

Plenty of room in cabins we were in a balcony only 2 of us but had extra beds that pull down nice dressing area from bathroom plenty to see and do

Caribe deck balconies are much bigger so if u can get one there i think that would be better if there were 4

Crew amazing we were very spoilt we enjoyed our cruise and a great time. a cruise is what u make it

We went on Golden Princess from Melbourne round NZ and return.

A couple of areas we weren't comfortable with:
Small crowded front desk/concierge area down below.
Only decent coffee on board was coffee shop there and was usually crowded and nowhere to sit.
Also we like to walk off the meals with 45 minute walks around the promenade decks.
With the Golden Princess the walk is interrupted up the bow area by having to climb stairs . cross the ship then down the stairs again.
Completely interrupts the flow of the promenade deck. Maybe Small issues for some.
We love cruising thou on the HAL Eurodam again in November for 15 day Panama Canal trip.
Irrespective of my trifling complaints re Golden Princess you will enjoy your cruise.
