If you want to do it over-land you can best take a local regional train from Switzerland across the border with France.

Then take a TGV to Paris and do some sightseeing there! From Paris take the Eurostar to London (hefty reservation fee, but worth it).

From London you can take any train to Holyhead, where you can board the Stenaline ferry to Dublin.

You'll get a discount with your Interrail pass ;). It's a lovely route!

Thank you so much! What about Roscoff/Cork? cherbourg/rosslare?

It's possible, but via London/Holyhead is by far the most convenient route in my opinion :).
