From Croatia to UK and then Ireland using the Interrail pass
Hey everyone! Next summer I would like to travel from Croatia (where I'm from) to the UK and then Ireland using the Interrail pass for either a fortnight or a month.
It would be my first experience as such and I have some questions regarding. Firstly, how does the Interrail pass even work?
Does my travel period count from the day I bought the pass or the first day of travel?
Secondly, when it comes to passing the English channel, is the Interrail pass enough or are there additional fees?
Also, is it possible to travel from the UK to Ireland by train (I don't know if there's an underwater railroad) or do I have to take a ferry or other kind of boat? Any answers to the questions above are welcome and much appreciated!!
It would also be great if there is someone here who undertook such a feat themselves and are willing to share their experiences and advice!
All the best in your travels from a fellow travel enthusiast!!
