Is the Golden Princess sanctuary worth it?
We are on the Golden starting 7/27 and are considering the Sanctuary.

Does the glass hinder the view at all - I'm thinking Glacier Bay. I can see from other travelers photos and my experience on some ferries, on but it looks like you can’t see anything.

Also, do you pay for an entire day? Can you come and go? Kids?

    It didn’t hinder our view in any way. U can book partial or full day. U can come n go as u please...ur seats are reserved. We booked full day. It was wonderful!!

It depends on what you want to accomplish.

If you want to take pictures, the glass will hinder the view.

They will be through blue tinted glass.

If you want to see the glaciers, but don't care that it is through the glass, then the glass isn't an issue.

We were on the Royal and there was nowhere in the Sanctuary that had an unhindered view for photos. We watched from our balcony.

Kids are not allowed in the sanctuary.
