Nicaragua protests
I am thinking of traveling towards Nicaragua in August. We have heard about the situation last year and some more incidents in February this year.

How is the current situation in Nicaragua, is it safe and fun to visit ? Thanks for your input.

I had no problems a few weeks ago, it’s fine! Felt safer than other countries in Central America. Everything is cheaper, awesome activities there... you should 100% go!!!!!!!!

No one can guarantee your visit will be completely free of trouble.

You can make it less likely by going to places like Corn Island where all is calm and protesta free, they have have always been safe and peaceful, but then you won't see as much!
