Partner visa (not spousal) United Kingdom
I’m American and my boyfriend is a British national.

We’re going to be applying for a partner visa (not spousal) within the next few months. Has anyone done this? What was it like?

I researched the topic extensively. I just want to hear some personal experiences. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You need to show that you have been in a relationship for at least 2 years otherwise the application will be refused.

Your partner also needs to show a gross income of at least £18600 per annum.
