This is where I grew up. Super little place outside London. Fast train link to waterloo. Lots of eateries on the high street as the mainly 20s/30s something young commuters that live around Surbiton stumble off the train (half pissed) and grab something to eat.

Really a perfect place to live. House backs onto the side of a mountain. Ski resorts all around, nearest about 8 mins in the car. Campsite and Restaurant just down the road. Doesn't get that windy as the mountain seems to shade us. However they also block the sun, so we do go into shadow at around 2.30pm in midwinter and 7pm in summer.

My university town. Took me a while to get a degree, then I stuck around a few years after too. Top place!

We were here for a few months while my wife was making our first child. Walking distance to Hampton Court and train to London, although many people drive to Esher station as the service is better. Nice high street with useful shops. Houses mainly very pretty. Nice pubs.

Brickfields is the main indian community area in KL. Obviously good for curry. I loved living here as it was walking distance to my work at KL Sentral Station

Moved here when my son was born, near my wife's family who had emigrated some years before. Very Catalan region, rural, known as the heartland of the Castells (human towers) and Calçots (spring onions) which the locals are justifiably proud of. Close to the beaches and the big city Tarragona, Valls is a small place but has plenty going for it. Wine is cultivated locally and they have large industrial area north of the city to encourage investment.
