Lovely hotel/restaurant/pub. Big and very comfortable and clean room which easily accommodated the large bath. Separate ensuite bathroom. Food was great. The service was of a very high standard apart from on the Tuesday Fish and Chips evening when the young man in a coloured shirt was very abrupt with us and was stomping around the restaurant. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay and would go again.

Pleasant local pub. We had a lunch for 12 people. Service a bit slow and quality good to medium. Great fish and chips!

We hosted my mother’s 90th birthday here two weeks ago. I can’t begin to explain how wonderful all members of the staff here were, how hard they worked to ensure that absolutely everyone at the party had a wonderful time, how they went beyond the call of duty to ensure everyone was comfortable or begin to explain how high the level of attention to detail was. Everyone was able to relax and have fun. The food was delicious, it was fresh and hot and everyone enjoyed their choice of dish. All I can say is thank you very much and simply recommend this venue if you are planning a party of any kind.

I only had lunch with my family in the pub once. It was ok. The staff were friendly, there was a decent selection of local real ales, but the food was mediocre. Fine for a burger, but that's about it.

A lovely place to stay. Lovely rooms, friendly staff and good food. An easy walk into Ilkley or to the railway station.

Very friendly. Old building bit creaky but that's cool. We were up in the rafters and there was a danger of getting injured if my wife came in bathroom while I was sitting on the throne. But who cares when there's a pub downstairs, good and intelligent service from the staff and just 60 odd quid a night! About 30 minute walk into centre of Ilkley.
