        • The £3 drop off charge is extortionate. If you want to drop off for free you have to park 10 minutes walk away from the entrance. Which would be fine in a warm sunny country, but given the amount of wind and rain we get it's cruel to force your Mam to walk that.
        • Small, badly-run airport with a ridiculous car parking system. If you can avoid it, don't use the car park unless you like to throw money away. Also be aware that they are very strict on the size of liquids etc that you can take in hand luggage.
        • The best airport: no cramp, no rush, easy access and a top range of destinations in Europe
        • as long as i can get on time from point A to B.. on time and on amazing cheap prices.. this airport is fine for me...
        • STOP BEING GREEDY! How can you justify a charge of £3 for dropping your customers ?
        • This review is aimed more at the outside of the building than inside but here goes... I understand that there's a lot of building work going on outside but the bus stops outside are poorly marked (bus numbers etc.. and poor signage) that being said once you get on a Yorkshire Tiger bus to the city centre you're expected to have the EXACT change! I had a fair idea of how much it cost as I looked on their website prior to travelling so instead of giving change the driver gave me a voucher. This is all very well and good but if you don't live in Leeds then you can't use THEIR voucher with OTHER bus companies! I'll travel to and from Manchester next time as at least they have a decent transport infrastructure to and from their airport i. e. a train station as well as a decent bus depot on site.
        • Local airport WITHOUT a train station. There are buses but they start and finish before the planes do. The carparks are typically expensive The security staff are quick and efficient. They check everything carefully which gives you great peace of mind, but they don’t mess about and move everyone swiftly. There are a nice selection of shops. The eating outlets like burger king and the pub are pricey like at every airport. The lounge is split into 3 rooms. A basic lounge, an executive lounge and a VIP lounge. You pay for entry and the price varies according to the level. All have very nice staff, who can’t do enough for you. Unfortunately there are no real ciders or dry ciders only nasty sweet stuff. The children’s area is somewhat depleted and is no longer sectioned off – which does not suit travellers with or without children and needs a rethink. The passport control on the return journeys isn’t too bad, but I have never seen staff in the baggage reclaim, and I have been using the airport for 20 years. A big plus is because it is a local airport, delays are very infrequent.
        • Not a great airport by any stretch of the imagination! They are doing improvement work on it, but it really needs a complete rethink. The journey through for the outbound flight was problem free, but it just the lack of facilities that make this a disappointing experience. Eating breakfast that cost approx £30 at a table that is designed to move around, making it impossible for two to sit and eat at and not much better for one person. After waiting nearly 20 minutes to be served any table was going to be welcomed. The usual journey to the plane is down a seemingly never ending windy walkway, followed by standing around waiting while they finish servicing the plane. Perhaps we could have waited inside for a little longer! Coming back is where the problems started. Once again parked on a stand in a different county, with miles to walk. Jet2 I though this was one of your big hubs, why do you have such poor stand locations? However I could cope with the walk if when you arrived there the baggage was going to appear. We landed at 2101 and we finally got baggage at 2212, with the excuse that we’re busy. You know when the planes are coming, why not make sure you’ve got staff. The only reason I ever use this airport is that it’s 50 minutes from home, which is strangely quicker than the baggage system.
        • Medium sized airport, airport itself is well kept , all public areas are clean and tidy. Wide enough choice of food options in the food court. Did find it had massive queues though but maybe it was just busy on the day I traveled ?. All staff I came across were helpful and friendly.
        • When travelling through Leeds Bradford Airport I become very agitated even before I get there by the obtuseness, arrogance and ignorance of the search staff. I have worked in the prison service for many years as an officer and a manager and if you pardon the cliche we treat prisoners with more respect, or should I say the respect a human being deserves. I have seen passengers bare foot while they have been searched which is totally wrong, clearly they should be offered a towel / paper or otherwise , but there should be something to separate the soles of their feet from the bare floor as is Prison Service Policy. Going back to the staff I have yet to communicate with a member of this group of staff who are not visibly inconvenienced when you talk to them, they are typified by their brash and loutish behaviour. I think there is a collective word for this ;| . This sector is clearly pulling Leeds down which is a shame as I have come across some excellent Leeds airport staff in the past. JET 2 staff are particularly nice, they should allow the airport staff on their communications courses. Unfortunately however If I can avoid Leeds I always do and use an alternative airport.
