Great University. The city itself can be a little bit harsh, especially at night time, but the city campus is pretty safe. If you consider the balance of life cost and the quality of education, University of Bradford is a way to go. Great cultural diversity among students and staff, great career opportunities after graduation.

I studied here as Erasmus student. It was a great experience. Nice campus. I liked it 24h open library.

The University of Bradford is a public, plate glass university located in the city of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. The university received its Royal Charter in 1966, making it the 40th university to be created in Britain, but its origins date back to the early 19th century.

Studied here, overall it is a good uni, few nasty lecturers who were racist and disrespectful, although majority were very respectful and supportive. Couple of lecturers were so racist and bad personality after what they did to me with my dissertation mark as they moderated it from a very high mark to very lower mark.. and I strongly fought for my case all the way and the rest is history..!! I will never ever forget what they did to me and never ever forgive them, I'm %100 sure one day they will suffer from a grief harder then the grief they caused me, God willing..!! After my case they abandoned Moderation process.

I was a student here for three years and would recommend it if you are south Asian, but not if you are White or black, as institutional favouritism is apparent from the faculty Dean and module lecturers. Often help is given to south Asian students unlike White and black counterparts. The essays never change and the ability to ask your friend that went the previous year and use their work and cheat, is the norm. In the exams, don’t worry about talking and cheating the invigilators turn a blind eye and let you get on with it. Don’t bother asking the admin staff in the undergraduate office or whatever it is called this week anything, as on 99.9% of occasions don’t know anything about anything and often ask you to email them with always no response. I am unsure the pre-requisites for the role to work in the undergraduate office but I am sure, clueless, rude, uneducated, and unorganised are defiantly apart of the training and or standards set by the University to work there. The University does cater for everyone when it comes to society’s, however the dominant focus of all events primarily is around Islam and Islamaphobia. The prayer room is for all faiths and none, to relax and pray but non-Muslims are often intimidated and leave and do not enter again (witnessed by myself personally) as a Muslim woman and English person I do find this attitude by my fellow sisters disgusting! I would recommend the University of Bradford to South Asian students only, as you will be supported by the lecturers, and Dean and attain a good degree, most likely a first or high 2:1 without any effort required. To the White and black counterparts, I would suggest the University of Leeds/ Beckett or Trinity where more diversity and opportunity is available for you to attain the best degree you can.

I was a student of the course in 2007 and it is one of the worst experiences in my life. Although cheaper than some film school's because they use digital technologies here, it failed to help. In the end I actually had to buy my own Z1 HD camera in order to complete the course. The Unviversity were too self-occupied to lend the cameras to the students for their own cermonies. Technical support are antagonistic and the tutors are often not in their staff rooms, most likely using the time to write their own books.
