        • Nice place to visit and escape the busy life of Bangkok for a short period. Although it is very touristy, flooded with tourists and souvenirs, still a nice place to have a drink as an expat. And I don't mean this in a bad way because I like it indeed. It's more that you have to see through this and you enjoy it. A nice drink at the river, some pics on the boulevard and a dinner in one of the many restaurants around. Cheers!
        • Great riverside place for dining and the restaurants are really good. Can do some shopping also for souvenirs, dresses, etc., but it is not like shopping mall type rather warehouse type layout. Have some shows inside operating, so better to check the timing before planning a trip here. One of the main attractions is Ferris Wheel. A must visit place if you are in Bangkok.
        • Although it was crowded, it was very very lively. Very colourful, very cheerful. Wonderful food. It may be a little expensive, but it was ok. A lot of street shows by many talented people. Nice small items suitable to be souvenirs. Very enjoyable place of your don't mind the overly crowd......
        • Great open riverfront area with great restaurants and shopping stalls. The Ferris wheel is a great way to have a birds-eye view of the area around the river, and it's all bright with a lot of tourists. A great spot to end the day and enjoy a meal. It is some 3km from the train station to connect to other parts of Bangkok such as the National Stadium etc.
        • Nice place to hang out, eat, and shop. We spent our 2018 New Year eve's countdown here and it was full of fun. It was packed, as one would expect, but we were able to make ourselves comfortable. A lot of cheap stuff for sale as well as pricey ones marketed towards tourists but you may be able to find better alternatives around Bangkok. A lot of restaurant choices from street stall type shops, pizza, KFC, and bars.
