        • Lumphini park is a gorgeous park! We went for a nice pick nick and stayed for the nature. It’s calm and was fairly quiet when we went (around 2pm on a Tuesday). We really enjoyed watching the huge monitor lizards go about their day, they are really beautiful creatures. We even spotted some turtles! Would highly recommend adding this to your itinerary whilst in Bangkok.
        • The park was better than expected. After reading many reviews. Stating that It is overrated, keeping in mind it is Just a public park. The lake had a beautiful emerald colour to it. We went out on a pedal boat. I think it was 100 baht for 30 mins. So that is a rough guess. We saw many water monitors and a couple of turtles. The water monitors, are unfazed by people. I personally wouldn't get too close. There were others trying to get up close and personal. We spent about 2 hours in total, including the time out on the boat. I recommend it.
        • Very cool park. Quiet areas, trees and grass. There were at least 2 proper outdoor gyms for weight training and they have a food court in the back. The best part is in the late afternoon there are huge group workout sessions, running, yoga and dancing. Go there and excercise with a fun group!
        • This is one of my favourite places in Bangkok. It's such a wonderful asset. A tranquil green space in the heart of the city where you can walk around and people watch, as well as listen to birds and see monitor lizards, turtles and large fish. All for free. Recommended
        • I really love this park. Enjoy the fresh air. You can sit here all day and enjoy the green gorgeous view. It is huge park, good for exercise, burn some calories. You can find people selling food and beverage on a few spot there.
