At Cherry Tree Cottages, we have two warm traditional stone cottages, set in two acres of woodland heather garden, with extensive views over the Black Brook valley, and Pennine countryside.

We are in a beautiful country location, just 15 minutes from both Halifax and Huddersfield, with easy access to all West Yorkshire towns and attractions.

We live adjacent to the cottages in the main house, Cherry Tree House and we are normally at home to welcome you. We will make sure that the cottage is warm and ready for you when you arrive. Since the cottages are next to each other, they are ideal for holidaying with friends or family. You can book the cottages singly, or both together.

The cottages are awarded 4 stars by VisitBritain, and are connected to wireless broadband network for free internet and email access.

    Pets and children are welcome.

There are local bus services to Halifax and surrounding villages, which pass the door.

From Barkisland village, there is a regular scenic bus service to Cragg Vale and Hebden Bridge.

Also there is a metro train service to Leeds, Manchester and York from Sowerby Bridge station. (10 minutes downhill from the cottage)

For visitors arriving by train, we offer to meet them at Halifax or Huddersfield and bring them to the cottage. There is an express rail link from Manchester Airport to Huddersfield, and we recommend taking this service.

Grand Central rail provides a direct service from London Kings Cross to Halifax.
