        • Great wee coffee shop. Great big cakes. Wonderful art gallery All this under 1 roof.
        • great cakes and coffee, including decaf. excellent service and relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by gifts and local art on sale.
        • Lovely home baked cakes. Cheesecakes are the best I have ever tasted! Gallery also worth looking round. A great stop if getting there on the Steam railway, on car or by bike (route 7 from Aviemore).
        • Excellent local gallery, Great staff, friendly and attentive. Perfect to walk to from Aviemore along Speyside way. Upstairs gallery has quality items from various local artists. Well worth visiting
        • This cafe has been redone in the last few years and is now a favourite stop for my holiday group when we go to the Cairngorms every year. As well as delicious coffee and cake, it sells local artwork on the upper floor, as well as jewellery and postcards. It's close to the Boat of Garten railway stop so perfect for a trip out. A lovely quiet stop!

        Capacity Category

        • My No 1 cafe
I love this place! it is a cafe within a gallery that has lovely seating, a wood burning stove for the winter and outside seating for the summer. It has a lovely ambiance with art and craft pieces all around. The coffee is excellent and there are home made cakes that are sublime - and real variety. As an example, when the Great British Bake off was on BBC, the cafe copied the recipes each week so that the day after the programme, you could taste them! Brilliant! It's great for families, purples, cyclists, walkers. I've been in in muddy biking boots and still had a warm welcome. I guess the only thing to mention is that it is soup (oh - forgot to mention this is also very good too!), cakes and drinks only - there are no sandwiches or savouries.
