• Brandenburg Gate

  The Brandenburg Gate is the most acclaimed historic monument in Berlin. It was a symbol of disunity but now represents unity. The gate was authorized for use in 1788 by King Friedrich Wilhelm II and it is 26 meters tall with its location at Mitte district's Pariser Platz, near Reichstag building. • Reichstag Building

  In 1894, The Reichstag was initially completed and was serving as the base of the German Empire's Imperial Diet until its destruction in 1933. Following the reunification of Germany, it was reconstructed for ten years and became the parliament building in 1999.
  
  The high point of this reconstructed building is the replacement dome known as the Kuppel. It is made of glass and you can have a look of the neighboring cities, particularly during the night, from the Rooftop Restaurant.
  
  However, it is important for you to note that you need a ticket to enter the dome and it is advisable to request for the ticket in advance due to a high demand.

  A really lovely place. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. There's a superb selection of hot/cold drinks, continental and cooked foods. My room is really amazing. All very plush. The Nespresso coffee machine was particularly appreciated. It's in a very convenient location, with nearby restaurants and shops within a short walk. There's also a bar and restaurant within the hotel itself. I will certainly visit again. Highly recommended.

  I would call this a dated 4 star hotel. Fine location, but as a guest in the superior double room I can say I stayed in 3 stars hotels that are nicer. I know people cheat on ratings with 3 stars hotel but this is absolutely not a 5 star hotel.

  Very good hotel and pool. Very good breakfast. I will gladly to go there again.

  Good hotel but has fitness room with no weights only 2 running machines and 2 cross trainers. Good breakfast i got the omellete freashly made along with the pancakes.

  I am recommending the Savoy Berlin to anyone going to Berlin. Besides the points mentioned above, the Savoy has true elegance and class without any ostentation. Service is experienced and deft and always polite. Rooms on the garden are incredibly quiet. The decor of the hotel has great style. The dining room is a dream--large, comfortable, with true German haute cuisine and tradition. The breakfast buffet is a concession to international requirements, but is done better than any I have experienced anywhere! I saw the chef several times checking it. The German salami is out of this world. Plus there is also "full English breakfast" including grilled tomato! Before arriving, Frln Bartsch in reservations was very helpful. Overall, I would say "stay at the Adlon if you must, but the real jewel of Berlin hotels is the Savoy.. its really amazing.. Goid views.. awesome service with best facilities..
