        • my partner has been diagnosed an Ectopic pregnancy and was admitted to Leighton Hospital on Friday , when attending the early scan unit she was treated with a lack of empathy and had to wait in the Patrick Murphy unit for Six hours before she was seen by a staff nurse. The surgeons were amazing and the thank god the operation was successful but the after care was shocking. She was not seen by a doctor on ward 12 for for up to twelve hours after the procedure down to lack of staff on the weekend. My advice is that you travel to North Staffordshire hospital where there are more doctors present at the weekend.
        • The team at A&E when my mother in law was taken in on the 26th August with a heart racing were exceptional in their care and treatment, she was given first class support and care by all the staff, as an elderley lady the dignified way in which the nursing staff looked after her was much appreciated. a big THANK YOU from her family.
        • I went to X-ray scan department for routine scan and was met by Mark who carried out my MRI scan to my neck and shoulders. Following same he raised some concern about the result and led me straight to A&E department. They were very busy but showed me every courtesy and within the hour I was seen and monitored primarily by two delightful nurses and then by Dr Mathews who gave me a thorough examination and referral to a consultant in Manchester, after first arranging the necessary neck support, again fitted by a lovely Sister. The department was buzzing with activity and there were queues of patients on trolleys in the passage leading in to the cubicle area. At no time was I made to think they were desperate to get rid of me to get to the next patient but were thorough and a pleasure to be in the company of without for one minute forgetting their endeavour. I applaud them for their abilities and professionalism.
        • All staff are foul!! I lost a family member here due to neglect and when I had my daughter here they did not help me at all they were just rude to the point where I was In tears! Nurses are really negligent, i took my baby home because I was told she was fine and the next day a nurse from Shropshire told me she had a skin condition!!! Leighton let her leave when she was poorly!!!
        • I have had exceptional care from Leighton Hospital over the past year. My treatment for breast cancer was concluded yesterday with reconstruction surgery. I encountered friendly , helpful, professional staff on every occasion, outpatients, pre op, phlebotomy, day ward, recovery ,ward 12 staff and of course, Miss Pope , Macmillan nurses and reception staff. The Hospital is spotlessly clean and the WRVS serves the best toast ever. I'm very proud of my local hospital.
