        • Busy and very tiny, can't walk a straight line, rude staff NO doubt, they truly lack sympathy, come to Canada and learn more human ethics! Not to mention the EXTREMELY highest food prices: A small bag of ships, small chocolate bar and a (terrible) small powder coffee: U$ 30.00! Will avoid this location on next international travels.
        • This airport is efficient. Many airports stateside could take a lesson. They move lines and adjust intentionally so passengers are not standing around a long time. Security is thorough, maybe too thorough, but that is worth having good safety. The communication available is thorough as well, keeping passengers aware of flights, times and gates.
        • My favorite airport! Every time I fly in and out of here, the process is really easy. Although it is a very crowded airport, I never have issues with flights or being where I'm supposed to be because of it. I love the little shops and how efficient the whole airport is. I'll only fly in and out of England here, because it helps to make the trip!
        • The airport has 4 terminals and great transport links from here to there. There's THE London Buses and the Underground. Heathrow Connect and Heathrow Express. But are different prices. Buses being the cheapest and Heathrow Express most expensive. The staff are great and is kept clean at all times
        • Great airport regular flyer Close to M25 & M4 Good public transport links to central London LHR T5 can be extremely busy on a Monday morning so get there early for departures. Good variety of shops at T5. The BA lounges at T5 can get very busy with limited seating
        • Our plane departed from Terminal 3. Once we cleared Security, all passengers were forced to meander through a department store-like retail setup without shortcuts to reach the gates. BE AWARE: Once out of the maze, there were no stores between gates 23 and 42; the exception was a coffee shop at gate 30. Anything that we needed while waiting an hour or so for boarding we had to walk back and forth about one mile. So, plan ahead and good luck!
        • I know a lot of bad things are being said about heathrow and airports in general. And considering that most people are stressed before getting on a big flight that is probably why. When that is said then my experience with this airport traveling from terminal 3 to USA was only good. Check in went smoothly, security was a bliss (we were there at 11am). On the other side there was a free kids lounge where our kids could burn of some energy before going to sit still for many hours. All in all very happy with the whole process and the facilities there.
        • Ok! everyone READ carefully, personally it's my fourth time in Heathrow airport, it's big nice and well organize but for VAT(TAX REFUND)every time something change even their own process which is so annoying especially when at end they tell you that you should've kept your luggage so I'm gonna resume once for all the process so no one be disappointed at the end : 1) put all your New stuffs that you bought anywhere in Europe in one luggage 2) fill all your tax refund forms before with your name, signature, etc 3) you go to Vat refund if your bought for more than 500£(terminal 2 BEFORE the security which means BEFORE CHECKING and not after cause they have to SEE ALL your purchases with your tax refund forms P. S you have to get to airport at least 5h before just to make sure you have enough time to catch your flight and not be stress 4) once you got “the Stamps” in all your forms you go for checking(in that step you can give all your luggage 4)After Security check there is another VAT refund section but once again if you go there make sure your new purchases are with you cause they have to see it to believe it otherwise NO STAMP 5) at the end in the first floor in the middle of all seats there is a round section with a small sign (the person need just to see THE STAMPS on your receives to refund you, SO No STAMPS NO MONEY BACK
        • We landed on Christmas eve and the line at passport control was 2 1/2 hours. (understandable because of the holidays). They gave free bottled water while waiting. I didn't understand why only families with "infants" go ahead of the line. How about families with small children? Senior citizens? One worker was abrupt and rude. Considering how much travelers they host, it's one of the best airports.
        • Great place to relax before you get on the plane. Lots of things to buy. Taken 8 out of 11 UK airports going to South Africa 4 times best airport. Comfortable seats waiting for plane but could tell you where to go for c gates
        • Place is massive.. Power outlets are everywhere if you plan to spend some time there.. My wife, daughter (5 yrs old) had to spend 14 hours at Heathrow waiting for a flight and it wasn't all that bad. Most of that time was spent walking around checking the place out, playing games outside getting weird looks from cigarette smoking workers and tourists.. Once we checked in Heathrow became a lot better.. They have an awesome play area for kids where you can let them tire themselves out while you can relax for a minute. There is a really nice lady that works there to make sure kids are playing nice and that their parents are within close range. I'm not sure what else you can ask from one of the busiest airports in the world?
        • All services good.Excellent food. But none before 5 am. If You are flying early, like me, bring some sandwiches. I'm hungry and would love to order food at one of boasting restaurants.None open. When they will open at 5 I will have much shorter time to enjoy.I will have to rush. The best they can do at 4 am is vending machine.Thats one of busiest airports in the world? The world must be pretty quiet then.
        • LHR BEST AIRPORT IN THE WORLD! Very clean, friendly staff, amazing duty free shopping, bars and restaurants in Terminal 3. Easy to park for long stay. Fair prices on food and drink compared to $4 for a bottle of water at JFK.
        • Queens terminal (Terminal 2) is one of the best world terminals of not the best. Well organized, well marked. Departure, especially departure gates are the best organized and streamlined ever. Neck to neck with Zurich and Singapore airports. Truly outstanding work professional security and customer service!
        • Amazing airport with easy access from train, tube, buses and taxi. Nice restaurant, bars and if you forgot to buy padlocks, toiletries, or even more complex shopping, it offers everything! Security is also great. It is one of the many treasures of London!
        • Whenever i go abroad to anywhere, this is the airport we go to, this is a excellent airport with good services and most importantly the queues are fast moving most of the times. Waiting times are not too long. Once i am in this airport everything is straight forward and easy to get to the destinations in the airport, and if their is a place i am unsure of, the board signs and the staff successfully get me to where i need to be. I have never had a problem at this airport, and if there is a problem then the staff would help with ease.
        • Great place to relax before u get your plane. Many shops, cafe bar, fast food etc, a lil bit expensive as all airports in the world. They have play area for kids, comfortable seats to wait, it is like a small city. And I am talking just about ONE terminal, and there are FIVE. Friendly staff ready to help u. Also halal food, Lebanese restaurant. Sea food, Italian food, coffee, tea etc. In one word: it's fine. I just suggest to airport to provide some plastic bags or slippers to frontier when they ask you to take off your shoes. This is the only inconvenient, the security control is necessary, but we stay in bare feet on dusty floor. In rest everything is fine. Amazing place. I waited 5 hours now and I was very happy and excited. Clean toilets. Prayer area. Abolition site.
        • Queens terminal (Terminal 2) is one of the best world terminals if not the best. Well organized, well marked. Departure, especially departure gates are the best organized and streamlined ever. Neck to neck with Zurich and Singapore airports. Truly outstanding work, professional security and customer service!
        • It is not so bad. But the security and the check-in can sometimes be really slow and not efficient at all. But otherwise, lounge is good and airport design is very nice.
        • Great place to relax before you get on the plane. Lots of things to buy. Taken 8 out of 11 UK airports going to South Africa 4 times best airport. Comfortable seats waiting for plane but could tell you where to go for c gates
        • The best airport in Europe and possibly one of the best in the world. Main port connecting East and West continents. Huge airports. I like the safety level. Amazing duty free shopping. Food is just amazing and the price is good. Every thing is fine. Very clean washrooms and many people using this airport for flights connections.
        • Great airport. Security checks are quick and hassle free while tight. Very kind and helpful staff who will answer most of your questions. Loads to do if your bored, waiting for your plane and loads of shops if you love shopping.
        • Amazing... such a huge airport.... nice staff and service... so much to explore.... well kept and maintained.... really crowded.......so many branded outlets present here.....every minute planes keep landing and others taking off..... nice view......flight service was also very good........
        • It's a simple functional airport. Lots of seats. The queue for the security check can be very long though there are many lanes. Last minute shopping can still be done while waiting for plane to be ready for boarding. There are also many eateries to grab a bite. Free charging ports kiosks for mobile devices.
        • Pleasant and friendly staff. Terminal 2 is the best terminal in my opinion. Modern, quick and easy to navigate. Terminals 3 and 4 do need modernisation badly. However, I've generally had good experiences while at Heathrow
        • Been on your feet for ages, tired of the journey to the airport on the Piccadilly line? Looking forward to sitting down with a nice quiet pint to relax before your flight? Good luck! There are NO bars in terminal 2 at all, only restaurants which also have bars, where you have to join a long queue just to be seated. Travelling with friends? Even better. If you all want a drink then it's probably easiest to go to separate bars to find a seat...
        • Heathrow is one of the busiest airports in the world and Terminal 5 is British Airways' home. It's an efficient airport which runs at near full capacity. Loads of destinations to choose from. Many options available to/from the airport such as the Underground Tube, buses and taxis. Safe flying!
        • Heathrow, the second busiest airport in the world (by international passenger traffic) is definitely among the best of the best. It is clean, and offers variety of food and shopping options (you can buys lot of duty free stuff here). The support staff is great and very quick to response. Security checks are quick and hassle free. However Terminals 3 and 4 do need a modernization to reach to the level of other terminals. Overall a great work class airport.
        • Biggest problem? Coming back into T2 and seeing hundreds of people trying to clear passport control with only 4 or 5 desks open. Then you go to the automated passport checks to find only four or five of them working and TWO people there to help! THEY'D BE BETTER OFF NOT HELPING AT AN AUTOMATIC CHECKER AND DOING PASSPORT CHECKS AT THE DESKS!!
        • Have been waiting at the passport control for over 1 hour for my partner to cross through, there are hundreds of people in the queue and only 3 desks open. This happens every time we fly via Heathrow! Truly poor service!!
        • I'm a frequent flyer & hands down heathrow airport is one of my favorites. It's clean, and offers all that I need. The food places are great & food is my next favorite thing. They have tax free goods, but I don't care for those much if I can get a lounge with an ambience, a clean airport & good food. It's also not so bad to navigate around. I've mostly ended up in terminal 5.
        • I am very concerned about the service Heathrow Airport provides its customers. I was present when an elderly lady fell down in the bus station of Terminal Five. After helping her to a seat, the help button was pressed on the concourse. No one arrived. I later flagged down a member of staff who said he would return in five minutes. No one came back. I then pressed the help button again, and was told someone was being sent. Finally when I had to leave the lady to catch my own bus, I made a final call and was told that help was still arriving. In total, we waited over 45 minutes since the initial call, and no one came to the aid of this lady. Leaving her, I asked people at the bus stop to look after her, as still no one had arrived. What an utterly abominable failure of Heathrow Airport to provide support for customers who need extra assistance in completing their journeys. It is not a case of you can do better; you simply must do better! Shameful!
        • This was the first time I was using this airport and I had a great experience, I was flying from Star Alliance Terminal 2 which the most modern one. Also getting to airport is easy and cheap, because if you go from zone 2 its only £1.50 which is really good and it's fast, really no need for taxi. Airport is really modern and security is fast and efficient. Central departure area is really nice and there are plenty of shops and restaurants and gates are really close so you don't have to sit at the gate until boarding call. I can really recommend this airport and I'm looking forward my next time there.
        • This airport is enormous and very well organized. It is the busiest in Europe and has flights to all the continent's. It is also a excellent option to connect to a city in Europe if you travel from or to Mexico. People working here is nice and helped you if you need information. The public transportation to London and around is gorgeous, there are many options available, like: train, underground, etc.
        • The female south Asian staff at the baggage area was so rude. She was nice at first but got triggered when my baggage was just above the limit. I could have easily shifted a items from one suitcase to another within seconds, but she told me to go back in the line which took 45 minutes to get round to the front. She was very lucky I wasn't in the mood to make a scene and ask for her manager to complain about her poor attitude that day in summer of 2015.
        • Stayed a night in transit at the Hilton airport hotel. Except for the long line at the passport control which is not a surprise being one of the busiest airports in the world, everything else went smoothly from transportation to navigating the corridors and walkways going from one building to the other, all made easy thanks to the genuinely kind staff at the airport who go out of their way to help. Going through terminal 5 on departure was so easy as well where there is a large shopping area with restaurants in a pleasant setting worth the time waiting for the flight
        • Very nice environment full of good food and shops where you can get yourself those last-minute things for holiday, or you can just browse. Very clean and good security. However, I highly recommend arriving early. The waiting areas are relaxed and really, I can't put the place down
        • It’s big and efficient. They make flying easy and manage the flow of people and traffic very well for its size! It’s definitely a major European airport hub so there is tons of international travellers came every day. I love their Subway system.
        • Nice airport complex.A travellers great transit hub.Flying with British airways is always a pleasure so is the transit at London Heathrow airport. There was snow during the landing yet the operations took place without much delay. On arrival especially at transit one is guided with the time frame planning for reaching the respective departure gates. Wide variety of stores for shopping and good restaurants for leisure on avail at the airport. Staff courteous in handling the travellers.Have free WiFi which is quite good.A thumbs up to this great airport ...
        • I've been to better airports but London Heathrow definitely put on a good effort. T5 is by far the best of the terminals given it is so much newer than the others and tends to be where almost all British Airways flights go from. Wagamamas is probably your best bet for decent food at the airport.
        • The female South Asian staff at the baggage area was so rude. She was nice at first but got triggered when my mum's baggage was just above the limit. We could have easily shifted a few items from one suitcase to another within a matter of seconds, but she told us to go back in the line which took 45 minutes to get round to the front again. She was very lucky we weren't in the mood to make a scene and ask for her manager to complain about her poor attitude that day in summer of 2015.
        • A VERY good place... Loved the staff, especially my employer! Heathrow was a GREAT place, where I did my work placement. :)
        • Brilliant success story - albeit built in the wrong place. Very easy to access, great facilities once you're there, efficiently run. Plenty of parking - not cheap. But it looks good - and is good. If only all airports were like this...
        • I like the Heathrow Airport. You can find there playground for kids. The food is quite tasty. There is free Internet. Feeling happy during long waiting hours here...
        • This airport has beautiful architecture which let's in a lot of light and helps wayfinding. There are too many shops, especially high end shops and feels like a shopping centre. Other than that functionally good.
        • Pretty painless experience. Jumping from one queue to another reduces the feeling of hanging around (as it's planned to do). Can't speak for shopping - most I get is a coffee.
        • It's an airport so not really enjoyable. On plus side the shopping is great if your after high end watches, jewellery and designer clothes. On flip side if all you want is soft drinks, snacks and food for flight Heathrow is the 3rd most expensive place I've flow from after Stockholm and Copenhagen!
        • This aiport is nice and beautiful. My stopover here was nice. Good restaurants and good menu. Easy to navigate. Some of the staffs could be rude anyway, especially if you are planning to stay over till next day.
        • Love this airport. I always go when flying from the UK to Japan, which is around every year. This airport is great, with plenty of shops to enjoy yourself at. Maybe hygiene could be helped, as the seats don't look clean, however I do understand as airports are incredibly busy and there is not really time to change those small things.
        • Heathrow airport is one of the busiest airport. It has 5 terminals and 2 run ways. Terminal 1 , 2, and 3 are at a walking distance but to go to the terminal 4 or 5 from.terminal there a free shuttle bus operates which the passengers are able to get from Heathrow train station. Heathrow airport is looking forward to get the 3rd runaway. Once that is done it will be the busiest airport.
        • So far, this seems the best. Clean environment, good food, professional staff and workers with great personality. Regardless of what others would have encountered, I still give 💯 rating because staff are willing to work through with you to solve your problems with affectionate smiles of their faces and in a polite manners.
        • I like the Heathrow Airport. You can find there playground for kids. The food is quite tasty. There is free Internet. Feeling happy during long waiting hours here... Usually, I try to find a connection through London in my trips...
        • Always easy to travel from and to. Normally quick at security and check in. Plenty of food and shops. Travel between terminal buildings is quick. Plenty of public transport connections. Staff always friendly and helpful. Certainly the best London airport.
        • Great airport, reasonable parking charges. Great bus service between car park and terminals. Well signed throughout, Security is very good. Great selection of outlets. Highly recommend just going to relax. but still a great airport.
        • Terminal 2 seems pretty nice. I believe it was recently updated. Luggage drop was fast. Getting through security was efficient. There are quite a few restaurants and shops to get a snack or meal. Air Malaysia has a pretty nice club room here for members or purchase a day pass.
        • It's a good airport with a wide selection of shops and eateries. The terminals generally look modern and well kept and there are excellent transport connections. The security staff are generally rude, it's a shame as they are the face of the airport that everyone sees.
        • Not a bad airport. Check in an security process much quicker than I anticipated. Faster than many domestic airports in the States. I'd still advise you to give yourself a bare minimum of 2.5hrs prior to your departure time to ensure you don't miss your flight.
        • Heathrow is a vast airport with everything needed to occupy your waiting time. Operations were slick and staff friendly and helpful. The place is clean and well maintained with good, clear signage and lots of convenient departure boards. There is a good infrastructure between terminals so there are lots of options for getting around between them.
        • Excellent in every way. Was alone today and therefore check out from arrivals was really easy as the machine did it's job excellently. I was out in less than a minute. Directions are there showing you where to go. Help is there as well. Can't fault my journey today.
        • International flights into Heathrow Airport is challenging just like it is in almost every large airport since the 911 terrorist attack. Fortunately, Londoners make the experience as easy and pleasant as possible. Going through customs is relatively easy with people guiding you through the process. The guides tell what to have ready and then the customs agent simply does their job. I think the whole customs process took less than 10 minutes.
        • This is my favourite airport on the world. There is so much space and security is always a breeze (fast track) the new Hayes at Border Control have really helped with wait times (if you have an e passport and traveling without children. It’s always nice after this to go to my favourite lounge The Concorde Room.
