        • Can't praise all the staff involved in my care enough. From arrival to discharge everyone was brilliant ..Room was spotless and cleaned twice daily, food tasty and hot. Shame I couldn't have stayed longer 😊
        • The staff there are completely kind and try help my partner as much as they can so generous of there kindness and time thank you to all the staff
        • A big Thank You for all the staff on Ward 16 (ENT) for looking after me yesterday
        • It would have been a nice idea that when invited for a pre op assessment that the letter should include a telephone number & perhaps a map of the car parking areas / entrances to the building. I wanted to contact the hospital to let them know I was slightly delayed. It's all very well saying to look on line..... Not everybody has access to such things & if you're driving, & limited on time, you can't look anyway. A simple contact number would have helped regardless. All said; the staff were very good & helpful & looked after my Mum & I whilst we were there.
        • Went for a circumcision in September, surgical & nursing staff were friendly and helpful, the Nurses were drastically understaffed and overworked, one of the Nurses discharged me hours after the Doctor's said I could leave, since then I've had no follow up appointments or any communication from the urology department at all, also I haven't had much control of my Bladder since either forcing me to wear incontinence pants Several doctors there also appear to think Hull Royal Infirmary doesn't possess urology or gastroenterology departments I have no intention of going anywhere near this Hospital for as long as I live
        • I've found all the staff in the outpatients dept. to be very pleasant and helpful. It's always spotlessly clean.
        • Ward 27. The staff on this ward have cared for our son in his final years. Their care and compassion was wonderful and they made his last weeks as good as they could be. There should be a special mention to one person in particular, Kylie was not a nurse but a top professional in her field. A caring loving person who made a big difference.
        • Great service from the staff. Only problem help desk closed no one to help
        • Very impressed with cardiology dept, excellent treatment, very clean ward, very friendly & helpful staff. Food on time, hot, tasty, fresh with good choice. Best hospital I have ever had to be in.
        • Thanks to You all in Ward 20 the Doctors and Nurses and everyone for the outstanding care My husband received from each and everyone of you when he was in your ward I Thank You All A Clark 12/5/17
        • Everyone Doctors, Nurses even asking someone which direction very helpful.
        • My son was admitted to ward 26 from scunthorpe general hospital last thursday. The surgeon told him within an hour what was going to happen and when. He was kept well informed, very well looked after. I carnt praise the staff enough. Lovely clean ward too. Thankyou, hope you nurses enjoyed your thankyou gift of chocolates x
        • I had cancer of the tonsils. The whole place and staff put me at ease from day 1.
        • Brilliant hospital but the parking is a joke at peak visiting times.
        • The staff on Ward 15 (Entrance 2) are outstanding. Everybody from the people that bring you food to the people that look after you through the night and the ones that keep the place clean and tidy and everyone else. Every staff member I encountered during my stay was an absolute 10/10.
        • Superb hospital , such friendly staff they cannot do enough for you , the restaurant does the best bacon butty,s
        • I had an appointment today, arrived half an hour early. I was seen early and cannot fault the service I received. The only thing I can complain about is the parking. If my husband hadn't have been with me I would have missed my appointment as he had to just drive round the car parks waiting for me as we were unable to park anywhere. I have been offered treatment which entails hospital treatment 3 times per week for a minimum of 6 weeks. Purely down to not being able to park this treatment may have to be cancelled!!
        • Ward 31 - The Castle Hill Hospital restored my faith that the NHS can run at least one hospital right. The staff were all working - no one seen drinking tea at the base station ! everywhere was immaculate ! This ward should be a flagship for the NHS !
        • Lovely polite staff and very clean . The only issue is how far it is and the travelling time on bus.
        • Always very caring, helpful nurses and receptionists
        • The staff on Ward 15 (Entrance 2) are outstanding. Everybody from the people that bring you food to the people that look after you through the night and the ones that keep the place clean and tidy and everyone else. Every staff member I encountered during my stay was an absolute 10/10.
        • Staff very efficient and compassionate! The only fault with this hospital are the parking charges for patient's. Should be free!!!
        • Whilst on holiday in Whitby I suffered a heart attack and after being treated for six days in Scarborough General Hospital I was transferred by ambulance to Castle Hill Hospital for surgery. The attention and care I received from all the staff was excellent. They were all very friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. The hospital was clean and airy and the food was very good. I am now at home in Stockport and recovering well. Grateful thanks to all on ward 28 for your wonderful care.
        • I can honestly say that my experience at castle hill hospital was one of the worst experiences of my life. I fractured my ankle 2 weeks ago and desperately need surgery to put it in the correct place and have waited 2 weeks due to the incompetence of hull royal hospital. I was finally told I could have surgery at castle hill and arrived on the chosen day, bearing in mind that I had to arrange childcare for my two young children, which was difficult in itself. I arrived at castle hill at 7 in the morning and was all prepped for surgery and was then left waiting for over 6 hours. the surgeon finally strolls up and casually informs me that my surgery is cancelled due to complications with the previous patient's surgery and the anaesthetist has now gone to hull royal. Why they can't have an anaesthetist at each hospital is beyond me!! I then suffered a panic attack due to the stress and knowing my recovery is being delayed even more and was basically told to "grow up" by the staff. I was struggling for breath and getting tingling pains all over and the staff's attitude that "I am a 31 year old woman who should calm down" wasn't helping me at all. they then prised my phone from my hands as I desperately tried to call my husband. I felt like I needed to get outside in the fresh air but was practically manhandled back down onto the bed. I ended up on the floor. I could go on but am just too exhausted. shocking service. the NHS needs to be privatised as it is just a complete scam. I shouldn't have to pay national insurance contributions for this appalling service.
