  The airport is located 10 kilometers east of city center in Antalya. It was built in 1960. To depart from the airport, most tourists opt to travel to the city center, the beaches or tourists’ attraction centers in Antalya by airport bus, taxi, city bus or even airline shuttle bus.
  
  From Antalya International airport you may take a taxi to take you around the city. There are City buses and Havas Airport buses at the airport. To get to the city center, you board the Antray Trams that can easily take you to intercity bus terminal (Otogar). The other option is making travel arrangements with your travel agency prior your arrival.
  
  Whichever mode of transport used, it is necessary to agree on the price before starting on a journey.

  Lara beach is one of the largest and most popular beaches in Antalya. It is located 12-kilometers east of Antalya and occupies a total of 450 acres of land.

  Terracity is a modern shopping mall located in Lara District. • Suna - İnan Kıraç Kaleiçi Müzesi / Suna & İnan Kıraç Kaleiçi Museum

  The museum comprises of two main parts: St. George, the church of Hagios Georgios (Aya Yorgi church) and a two storey building constructed in the 19th century.

  The Church of Hagios Georgios is of great historical significance to Antalya and is one the five orthodox churches in Kaleici that are known.

  Its features include a Mediterranean architectural design with a vaulted ceiling decorated in plaster motifs and different shades of blue, the vaulted ceiling symbolizes paradise. Cannakkale ceramics exhibition is housed within the church. Suna and Inan Kirac collection found at the exhibition displays some of Canakkale ceramics.

  The two-storey building is an example of a traditional Antalya-area house of the 1800s. In this part, the traditional scenes from Turkish culture are exhibited.

  Opening hour: the Kaleici museum is open on Thursday to Tuesday from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.

  My experience at Antalya Airport was Splendid. It is a sophisticated airport. The airport contains clean facilities, and is well maintained, with an amazing atmosphere. Staff are very friendly, and don't interfere with anything, and are very considerate. Airport has good choice preferences of food, and beverages. Also prices are reasonable in this airport. Airport also has good choice preferences of airlines, including Turkish airlines. I recommend everyone in the world to visit this spectacular airport in Antalya.

  Be aware of rip off parking charges and rules! Minimum 10,50 TRY even if you only enter the parking area to pick up or leave some one. This is the reason why you can see many cars illegaly waiting alongside the road outside the airport and also before the official parking avoiding to be charged. Major security matter! Please also be informed that all international Turkish Airlines passenger arriving with a domestic flight (e.g. Istanbul-Antalya) will arrive and exit at the International Terminal 2 despite the fact that the flight is a domestic flight. Pure domestic passengers arriving with the same flight will arrive and exit at the Domestic Terminal. The distance between International Terminal 2 and Domestic Terminal is not walkable! However if you are departing with Turkish Airlines to an international destination via Istanbul (or e.g. Ankara) you will check-in at the Domestic Terminal. Very logical and easy to understand!?

  Good international passenger terminal, not a too long queue at the security controls. Airline employees and even custom officers generally well organised. Quite easy to walk through the terminal and locate shops and gates.

  This airport has some decent things, even though it’s a rather small airport. Can find taxis outside easily and are not that expensive. Lots of shops and eateries inside too. Check in Staff are pleasant and don’t hassle you with over weight luggage.

  Airport is ok but the gastronomy doesn't match Turkish hospitality. Prices are sky-high while quality of drinks and food is poor. Also employee behavior is poor. Buy some food at local stores before going to the airport.
