Users Assigned: KazmiNewark is the largest city in New Jersey and the first one encountered by anyone flying into the Garden State. Newark is home to the Newark Liberty International Airport, several college campuses, and the New Jersey Devils.
One of the nation's major air, shipping, and rail hubs, the city had a population of 277,140 in 2010, making it the nation's 67th most-populous municipality.
The city is split up into many different neighborhoods and areas. The Ironbound is largely Portuguese and features many wonderful restaurants and bars.
Crime has dropped severely since being labeled as "The Most Dangerous City in America" in 1996, although 5 of the last 7 mayors have been indicted on criminal charges.

RutherfordRutherford is a quiet Bergen county town located 8 miles outside of New York City. It is centrally located 12 miles from Newark International Airport, 2 miles from the NJ Turnpike and 4 miles from the Garden State Parkway.
Rutherford is located on New Jersey Transit's Bergen line, and the Secaucus Transfer Station links Rutherford with Amtrak's east coast Boston-Washington line. Residents, commuters and visitors have direct access to mid-town Manhattan. New Jersey Transit buses also run through the town along Union Ave. and Orient Way.
