        • Attended the eye clinic this afternoon having been referred by my doctor yesterday for visual disturbance. Doctor thought it might be a detached retina. Despite not having a 'proper ' appointment I was seen promptly and professionally and my mind was put at rest. Thank you Milton Keynes eye department.
        • Why can't I give a zero! Accident and emergency staff clueless. More than once given wrong diagnosis. If you suspect something serious, don't go there if other options, I doubt they will be able to diagnose it let alone treat it! After X-rays was told I'd sprained my knee. Told Dr I didn't accept his diagnosis. He looked at me with contempt. I was seeing a Dr in London about something different in few weeks but would get proper diagnosis then. Different doctor in London took a look and said I had multiple fractures in lower leg. Showed me pictures! How can you kiss wiggly lines! When vomplained was told they would have picked it up second time when pain didn't go! if you cant get the basics right, don't try complicated diagnosis Another time was told I sprained my ankle, see a pattern here? After weeks of pain saw an orthopod I trust In London. He yanked my foot when not expecting it and said he knew my problem. I had torn ligaments and they had mended loosely. I should have been put in plaster or an air boot after injury. The scary bit was he said a practice nurse could have done what he did and diagnose me. He said you didn't need a doctor! Yet a team MK hospital couldn't suss it out between them Because of their failure I needed surgery to correct it when plaster or the boot would have been sufficient if diagnosed correctly first time, I dread getting rushed d in unconscious when I can't have then a hint as to what they are doing!
        • Most of the staff is friendly, this is the only thing you can highlight in this hospital as something positive. The air conditioning doesn't work properly, hot during the day, cold during the night. It's not clean at all for a hospital Cark park cost is really high Waiting time terrible, they are always too busy Too small for the population in MK Rooms and installations are old and low quality
        • This hospital is a complete joke. From passive aggressive nurses, to doctors who couldn't seem more disinterested if they tried. One of the nurses was extremely rude and abrupt when a reassuring and friendly approach would've been much more suited! We complained to the "head nurse" on shift who said she would have a word with the nurse, however I would be extremely surprised if this actually happened. At one point we told the receptionist about a lady in the waiting area who seemed like she was in a great deal or pain and in tears... despite this the receptionist thanked them ignored us and she wasn't checked on. The doctor who eventually saw us for a dislocated shoulder said a sling would be put on but he didn't do it and a nurse would... we then had to wait another 2 hours (already spent 3 hours there) for a sling to be put on!!! Anyone of the patients could've put the bandage on in 2 minutes, in have no idea why firstly the doctor didn't do this and subsequently took such a ridiculous period of time to be done! Note that it wasn't busy and I could've counted those in A&E on 2 hands. None of the employees we met today can go home and be happy with the level of service they deliver, this place is a shambles!!
        • Under ENT with my sinus issue... However on 1st appointment, I was called into a sound proof room and had a thorough hearing test, prior to seeing the consultant, he laughed himself silly on learning this. ( Sinus ) On the follow up appointment, I got called in to same room for my hearing aid fitting!! 😂 I have perfect hearing. But have over the years watched the decline in services and staff. Rather sad for MK. We need another hospital with proper parking facilities, to cater for our growing population.
