  Fakhreldin is one of the best Lebanese restaurants in Amman offering Lebanese cuisines.
  
  The venue is located along Taha Hussein Street in Amman on the second circle. Some of the best delicacies in the menu include desserts, oriental mezza, fish and other types of meat.
  
  Different types of wines and refreshments are available at the venue at reasonable prices. For the lovers of cigarettes, Smoking is allowed and Sheesha is available.

  Burj Al Hamam is a Lebanese restaurant located along Islamic College Street on InterContinental Hotel.
  
  Some of the Lebanese meals offered include different types of sea foods such as Arayess, Shanklish, Kibbeh Nayeh, Kebbeh Sajieh and fillets among others.
  
  Prices vary depending on the type of food you order but on average a meal for one person would cost JD30. Different types of fruit juices, wines and beers are sold at the restaurant.

• Rainbow Street

  It is a popular historic street and a very busy entertainment spot in Amman. The street is less than a mile long and narrow, and it is a popular hangout especially with the locals. It is also very busy during summer.
  
  Previously, the street was known as Abu Baker Al Sedeeq. The street is characterized by several art galleries, boutiques, tea shops, Shisha bars and cafes.
  
  Along this street you will also find traditional and new shops selling handicrafts and jewelry.
  
  Bars, cafes and restaurants and the very popular Falafel al-Quds are located along the street. Most of the entertainment venues offer free Wi-Fi.

• Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts

  Jordan National Gallery of fine arts is another interesting site found in Amman. It is small but really an impressive and wonderful place where one can gain an appreciation of contemporary Jordanian pottery, sculpture and painting.

  The temporary exhibitions that are found here are of high quality and they serve as a good introduction to those that are new to the world of Islamic art.

  The Jordan national gallery of fine arts is housed in two buildings that are separated by a small park that hosts very interesting sculpture.

  The first building which is on the Northern side of the park is the one that is smaller and holds temporary exhibitions. The second building which is on the opposite side contains the ticket office, a café on the top floor and the bulk of the collection.

• The Jordan Museum

  Jordan Museum is another interesting site to visit in Amman and was established in 1951.
  
  It is located in Ras Al Ein district of Jordan next to city hall. It was built in the year two thousand and fourteen and it is the largest museum in Jordan that hosts the country’s most important archaeological findings.
  
  It presents artefacts that are from the diverse ancient archaeological sites in Jordan which include the 7500 BC Ain Ghazal statutes which are regarded as some of the oldest human statutes ever made by human civilisation.
  
  The collections found in the museum are arranged in a chronological order and it also features lecture halls, a library, outdoor exhibitions, a conservation centre and an area where the children can hold their activities.
  
  This museum was established by our queen Rania which became the only museum to implement modern artefact preserving technologies in Jordan.
  
  We hope that one day the galleries upstairs covering the Islamic Jordan to Arab revolt will be finally finished.

• The Khalid Shoman Foundation - Darat al Funun

  Another interesting place to visit in Amman is Darat Al Funun.

  This is the home to arts and artists in the Arab world. 

  There are organized talks, film screenings, hosts performances and concerts, exhibitions, publishes books and catalogues and offers PHD fellowship.

  Probably one of the best restaurant in Amman, known to welcome celebrities. Fakhreldin offers a wide range Lebanese cuisine with outstanding service. All the waiters were very attentive. A little more expensive than other restaurants we visited, but not dramatically so. The food, service and ambience definitively worth it. Enjoy the authentic jordanian house decor.

  I can confidently say that this is the best Lebanese restaurant in Amman. Be it for the quality of food, portion size, ambiance, or service level. The place takes you back in time to the old Amman life. All the service team there makes you feel that you're welcomed from the moment you step in until after you leave the restaurant. Besides the common lebanese mezze, i normally like the chicken balls they prepare. Can't wait to be back in Amman and dine again there.

  The food was devine! I would recommend the chicken balls, it was crispy on the outside and hollowed out with a mild curry sauce inside. The grape leaves were the perfect combination of sour and tart.
