• West Hollywood

  Known as the gay capital of Los Angeles, West Hollywood contains the most famous area of Southern California nightlife, the Sunset Strip, as well as parts of Santa Monica and Melrose Blvds. Famous stops along the strip include the Chateau Marmont, House Of Blues, Viper Room, owned by Johnny Depp, Whiskey A Go-Go, the Roxy, and other music and comedy venues.
  
  The West Hollywood’ north side is surrounded by the Hills of Hollywood area of the state Los Angeles, and the east side is surrounded by the region of Hollywood Los Angeles, on the west by the city of Beverly Hills, and on the south by the Fairfax District of Los Angeles. As of the 2007 census, the city had a total population of 34,675. West Hollywood is also known for its expensive housing.

  Check out the infamous 40ft sign propped up above it all. Check out the local burger bar and hang out with all the waiters – sorry, actors – at a pool party, talking celebrities between each sip and trying to weasel your way into a blockbuster. Go home no more famous than when you arrived, but somehow still feeling like a superstar.
  
  True, Hollywood is arguably the most shallow and celebrity focused stretch of land in the entire world (though certain corners of Mumbai might beg to differ), but it’s also one of the most inspiring corners of the states, with a night out on Sunset Boulevard or star spotting down Hollywood Boulevard in the blazing sunlight feeling somehow more special than a night out anywhere else. There’s a palpable sense of excitement about the place, with everything from legends like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and The Motley Crue to drag acts and celebrity focused drug dealers focusing their life around Hollywood’s three main thoroughfares.
  
  Aside from watching the filming of occasional TV shows, there’s plenty else to do in the Hollywood area: drift down the Walk of Fame, drop in on the wax museum or catch a future star at the infamous Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Step away from celebrity and indulge in a bit of science, with the Griffith Park Observatory, or go star spotting amongst the mansions of Mulholland Drive.
  
  Of course, downtown LA, the beaches and Universal City are all a mere stones throw away from central Hollywood, and you’d be mad not to incorporate the super city into any trip, too. Bikini clad beaches, manic parties, rock and roll and money, money, money are all just part of the experience.
  
  Many come here with nothing in mind but fame, while others come just to get their own taste of how the other side lives. Whatever your reasons, you’re sure to enjoy your moment somewhere near the spotlight, and come away dreaming of a Hollywood life.

  Booked my son's graduation party here, worked closely with Alejandra she is awesome!!!! This was a party of 20 and everything was seamless. We added some last minute details and she accommodated us without a hitch. Our table was set beautifully with fresh roses and the lighting was beautiful. (The hidden Garden Room) Alejandra made me feel like she was a part of my family during the planning. Alejandra my son Sebastian and the rest of our family thank you for everything!!! our friends and family enjoyed tremendously!

  A large group of us traveled from NJ to LA for my daughters college graduation. We called on a Thursday morning for a reservation for 8 people that night and were pleasantly surprised that they could accommodate us. We were seated in a private room across from the bar. It was very lovely. Our server Diana was wonderful and took great care of us. Both service and food were great. Loved the Goat cheese balls and the calamari. Pork cops were delicious as was the Skirt steak. They make a great Manhattan and Raspberry Mojito. Loved the cheesecake and the Old fashioned chocolate cake. James, the D.J. came in just before we left and took pictures with some of us. Definitely would go back next time we are in LA.

  I've been to SUR a few times and loved it. The food is great. The drinks are great. The atmosphere is great. And the service is great. I am definitely looking forward to coming back on September 21st with my fellow Canadian travellers! 🇨🇦

  Arrived at 245pm for a 3pm reservation yesterday. The host was fairly friendly Asian lady. Georgina was our waitress who made our experience superb! We had flown from Orlando to experience LAX and certainly SUR was on our list, ah! And PUMP. We sat near the BAR toll about 5pm. Georgina’s shift was over and handed us over to a very young server, who never came back once we closed the tab. Everything went downhill from there. We’re abruptly told the area was being closed and therefore prepared for dinner. We wanted to have one more drink, it would have been nice to tell us/ask us to simply move to the lounger sitting area, rather than the opposite. Manner matter and I would certainly reconsider coming back after spending $200 on a burger/pasta and a couple of Drinks. PUMP is way better.

  My wife, being a die-hard fan of the show, made a reservation 3 months in advance when we decided to go to LA. Although not necessary, we were seated in the outside garden(?) room with no issue. Our server was very friendly and grabbed me when we left as my credit card had fallen to the ground. Food was excellent! Got the chicken Milanesa and my wife the salmon. Jeremy was nice and posed for a picture with her. That said, in the show apparently Lisa is all about cleanliness but the bench in the room wasn't very clean. Also, the lounge was inaccessible due to a private event so we only had access to one side of the restaurant. Lastly, didn't realize the neighborhood was what it was.. parking a pain, tons of bars and clubs surrounding the restaurant, and some sketch people. But all in all though, a solid experience.

  Came to SUR because my friend is obsessed with the show. Took them about 8 minutes just for someone to come to our table to greet us. The restaurant and furniture itself is VERY WORN has stains on the chairs which was disgusting. The patios are cool. But just in general...for a place that the expectations are sky high.....I would have thought the actual restaurant would’ve been so much cleaner and upgraded furniture you’d feel comfortable sitting on. The pan roasted salmon on the other hand was delicious. The only thing I would say about the dish is provide a type of sauce to add to potatoes.

  Having a meal at SUR now bucket list has a check mark beside it! Visiting from Pickering ON Canada and planned a "Vanderpump" day. A great brunch at SUR to start our day. The service, food and atmosphere was excellent. I was so excited to meet Peter upon entering the restaurant. He is the same in person as on the show. Hardworking to keep the restaurant running smooth to ensure all guest have a truly wonderful & unique experience. Also had other opportunities to talk to other cast members.

  Excellent food in an eclectic atmosphere. A DJ as you walk in, but nice dining seating as well. The goat cheese balls were simply amazing, I could only wish for more, not nearly enough. The rest of the meal was high quality and service was spot on the whole night. All in all a great time to be had and worth the visit.

  Had dinner on Tuesday night at SUR with two of my friends. We had the absolute BEST food and service while we were there! Our dinner was delicious, our server Adrianna made so many great recommendations and we loved it all. Adrianna was so sweet and a lot of fun! She definitely made sure that we enjoyed our night. We are from out of town and she was able to point out some good spots to visit as well. We would absolutely come back!!!!

  The food was tasty, I got the salmon with spinach and green beans it was delicious. the atmosphere was relaxing and intimate. I would definitely go back :) Max was our waiter and he was such a sport when I asked him for a picture!

  One of my favorite go-to restaurants to go to when I’m in L.A. I always have great service and the food is impeccable. The drinks are strong, but not too strong. Love the decor. there was a bit more room to lounge in the bar area, but overall I love SUR!
