• Takoma Park

  Takoma Park....a town recalling of its former glory days that reminisce upon the hippie movement of the 1960's and '70's with Sears and Roebuck style wooden Victorian houses lining her streets. A refuge between Silver Spring and the nation's Capital complete with its own hospital, police and fire stations in the most quaint, peaceful Azalea saturated paradise for its residents.
  
  The downtown section boasts several cute little craft, art and eccentric hobby shops. Takoma Park made a statement decades ago by declaring itself a "nuclear free" zone; a town nestled amongst the grand Oak and Maple trees lining the trails, parkways and many neighborhood streets. Two colleges grace the town sandwiched between low income apartments near the municipal center leading up to apartment-split houses and million dollar mansions lining the margins between Sligo Creek parkway and Carroll Avenue.
  
  Convenient with its own Metro Rail (subway) station boasting a unique flavor like no other. Bicycle paths line the valleys leading between Silver Spring and Langley Park...a peaceful, serene sanctuary like to other with the advantage of bordering the Nations Capital.

  Elesa was the Best Costumer Service Rep That I have had in Awhile. I'm a Truck Driver and I Meet a lot of people and She was the Best!!!!!

  We have be booking with this hotel for the past 3 years as a school group. This year I called more times than I can count to reserve our rooms. I left numerous voicemails when connected to a group sales number. Eventually, the voice mail box was full every time I called, and I would then call back and left numerous messages with the front desk. NO ONE EVER returned my calls. Yesterday, I called once again and, before I can even finish my sentence, I was cut off by the woman working at the desk who abruptly and rudely informed me the hotel was full during the dates we are coming. There was no apology over the way I had been treated or how poorly my situation had been handled. She clearly didn't care one bit. I asked if I could speak to someone about my experience over the past month and half. She just repeated they were booked. She did this 3 more times before I had to just hang up. The hotel itself is a nice hotel, but the customer service I have experienced over the past 3 years, especially this year, has been nothing but disrespectful and frustrating. I guess when your hotel is booked you can just be rude to people. We will never book with this hotel again!

  Other than not having any cable this is a nice place to be enjoy the employees and the staff very good people to see in the morning and in the evening and at night
