Users Assigned: KazmiWeimar, located in the German state Thuringia, almost in the centre of the country and east of Erfurt, is one of Germany’s popular tourist centres and one of its most important cultural cities. Weimar played important roles in Germany’s political and cultural history since the 18th century and is one of the country's most significant heritage sites.
Famous luminaries like J.W.v.Goethe, F.Schiller and J.S.Bach lived and worked there. Many tourists, who come to Weimar, are highly interested in places like the ‘Schiller House’ or ‘Goethe’s Garden House’. Nowadays, a lot of these places are museums, which show you a glimpse into the lifestyles of the day. But even a walk along the old and beautifully restored streets gives a good impression of centuries past.
