  The museum comprises of two main parts: St. George, the church of Hagios Georgios (Aya Yorgi church) and a two storey building constructed in the 19th century.

  The Church of Hagios Georgios is of great historical significance to Antalya and is one the five orthodox churches in Kaleici that are known.

  Its features include a Mediterranean architectural design with a vaulted ceiling decorated in plaster motifs and different shades of blue, the vaulted ceiling symbolizes paradise. Cannakkale ceramics exhibition is housed within the church. Suna and Inan Kirac collection found at the exhibition displays some of Canakkale ceramics.

  The two-storey building is an example of a traditional Antalya-area house of the 1800s. In this part, the traditional scenes from Turkish culture are exhibited.

  Opening hour: the Kaleici museum is open on Thursday to Tuesday from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.

  Kaleici, also referred to as citadel is of great historical significance. It is located along the Mediterranean coast and formerly, Kaleici served as the city centre of Antalya.
  
  It is surrounded by fortified walls from the inside and outside. The walls were built more than 2000 years ago and today some of the walls are still in existence. Some civilizations that inhabited the city are believed to have constructed the fortified walls.
  
  The city was confined within this wall until modern times. Today, Kaleici is characterized by historical buildings, several beautiful boutique hotels, beach hotels, and budget pensions that offer top class accommodation facilities in the coastal town.

  It is located along Cumhuriyet Street in close proximity to Yivli minaret mosque. The domed tower was built during the reign of Abdulhamid II. Clock tower is a square bodied structure that has four clocks on its four corners.

• Yivliminare Mosque

  The historical building is commonly referred to as Alaadin Mosque. Being the first Turkish structure in Antalya, it is located in Kaleci was built based on Seljuk architectural design.
  
  The mosque is the part of complex structures, Kulliyet that comprises of Dervish lodge, Seljuk, Giyaseddin Keyhusrev Medrese and vaults of Zincirkiran and Nigar Hatun.
  
  The mosque is famous for Yivli Minare (a fluted minaret), which is beautifully decorated using dark blue colored porcelain tiles.
  
  The base of the structure is made of cut stone while rest of the body with a square plan is made of red bricks. The Yivli Minare 38-meters in height, is a symbol of the city.
  
  The structure is believed to be built between 1219 and 1236 during the reign of Sultan Aladdin Keykubat. The mosque is covered by six domes and has two rows held by twelve columns.
  
  The mosque was converted from a church in 1230 by Seljuk sultan.

• Iskele Mosque

  Iskele Mosque is a stunning structure which is remarkably small in size. It is located near the marina in the old Yacht Harbor area. It is not clear when the structure was built as it is not documented. The mosque with a short minaret was built using white stone. On its sides it is supported by four columns.

  These two buildings, which were bought by Suna and İnan Kıraç, were repaired and converted into a museum in 1993-1995. One of these structures is typical of a traditional outer sofa, two storey Turkish house belonging to the late period. The first part of the museum is a two-storey example of the traditional Antalya house of the 19th century. In this section, the sceneries of traditional scenes from the Turkish culture are exhibited. The other exhibition area of ​​Kaleiçi Museum is Aya Yorgi (Hagios Georgios) Church, which is one of the monumental cultural assets of Antalya Kaleiçi. Çanakkale ceramics belonging to Suna & İnan Kıraç collection are exhibited in this section. The Kaleiçi Museum is open every day except Wednesdays between 9 am and 6 pm. Suna ve İnan Kıraç tarafından satın alınan bu iki bina 1993-1995 yıllarında onarılarak müzeye dönüştürülmüştür. Bu yapılardan biri geç döneme ait geleneksel dış sofalı, iki katlı Türk evinin tipik bir örneğidir. Antalya kaleiçi sivil mimarlık örneklerinden Tekelioğlu Konağı'ndan esinlenerek onarılmıştır.Müzenin ilk bölümünü 19. yüzyıla ait geleneksel Antalya evinin iki katlı bir örneği oluşturur. Bu kısımda Türk kültüründen geleneksel sahnelerin mizansenleri sergilenmektedir. Kaleiçi Müzesi’nin diğer sergileme alanı, Antalya Kaleiçi’nin anıtsal nitelikli kültür varlıklarından biri olan Aya Yorgi (Hagios Georgios) Kilisesi’dir. Bu kısımda Suna & İnan Kıraç koleksiyonuna ait Çanakkale seramikleri sergilenmektedir. Kaleiçi Müzesi, Çarşamba hariç her gün, 9:00 – 18:00 saatleri arasında ziyarete açıktır.
