BraintreeA municipality south of Boston, Braintree is favored by commuters into the city because of easy transport links by rail, subway or the highway. Traffic can be an issue on I-93 at the infamous Braintree Split where other highways merge in. Access to Logan Airport is also easy via shuttles or driving.
The town is split between residential, light industrial and commercial. There aren't a whole lot of tourist activities but there is plenty of shopping at South Shore plaza and good food nearby. The prices of lodging tend to be high so it may not be worth the cost if you're touring Boston but it is an option because the transit to and from the city is easy.Braintree, MA, USA -

Booked a bed and breakfast in Marshfield during the coldest weekend in 2016! Fortunately, we found Polcari's to have dinner. Parking was abundant, and luckily, I didn't have to valet the car. Food was great. Best clam chowda I've ever had so far. The steak was cooked perfectly. The garlic mussels were a delight for an appetizer. Service was impeccable. Even though it was 5 degrees outside, Susan, our waitress, warmed our hearts.

A few of my friends and I decided to go to the bridgwaye for lunch last Friday. We were extremely happy to see that the had a very casual atmosphere we decided to sit at the bar.the bartenders Eddie and Jack where the best!! They where extremely busy and somehow had us falling off our barstools while giving great service to everyone. Our food was fantastic,Drinks were amazing, The menu with daily specials was fantastic. My friends and I can't wait to get back there.Amazing views, Great food,exceptional service, wonderful cocktails. We had the best day ever at the Bridgwaye.

Lived in #2 at the Bridgwaye in 1985/86 while working for Butler Service Group in Braintree MA. What a great little town - walk to the ocean or up in the hills behind Bridgwaye.....great food - especially seafood, friendly staff even back then. Easy to get around on foot or by car.

Love the food its the only reason, the management suck I'm surprised she is still there, honestly I don't feel welcome, the wait staff are wonderful always worth a smile. . But im a patron I need attention

Food was excellent. Only downfall is the noise level. It was a bit loud when we were there for dinner.
