However, Boca Raton has recently become a much more diversified family community. There is great opportunity for shopping, eating, and entertainment.

    • Miami Beach
Technically a barrier island connected to the mainland by a series of bridges, Miami Beach is nevertheless a city all by itself. It has stood as one of the premier beach resorts in the United States for nearly a century, and between its Art Deco buildings, its world-famous nightclubs, its Latin American culture, and the sun and sand, it is extremely easy to see why this is such a favorite place for so many. However, keep in mind that the very nature of Miami Beach screams premier and exclusive, so the rates can be somewhat shocking during the peak winter months. This is definitely not a budget destination, although if you head there in the low season when tourism has dropped off the rates are significantly lower, and in the current economical times you can find better deals than in the past.

Probably the most popular and well-known part of Miami Beach is South Beach, which is an area known to millions for its prominence in movies and books over the years. It is fun-in-the-sun year-round, which is one of the main reasons that it has remained so popular, giving people access to the beaches no matter the season. But beyond the beach itself you can explore the various surfing opportunities, head out onto the water for some snorkeling, or you can take one of the guided nature tours that include kayaking and snorkeling, as well as canoe trips up some of the mangrove creeks.

There are also several guided bike tours for people looking to cycle their way around the island, or you can hoof it on foot. Miami Beach is also one of the few places in the United States that offers visitors access to nude beaches, although they are private in nature so you won’t be able to gawk unless you are man (or woman!) enough to bare it all with the rest of the people.

      • The most horrible experience. Roach infested hotel, bathroom ceiling leaking water. Have to spray bug spray everyday due to too much roaches crawling everywhere even in the bed. Hotel smells horrible. Had to spray with air freshener all the time. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. They even charge so much for what the hotel offers. They don't even have coffee stirs. Wifi sucks, no signals. Really very nasty, dirty, stinky hotel. Bathroom is horrible. I can go on and on and on... they need to shut that place down
      • Unbelievable, not ina good way!!!! If u wanna scratch your self to sleep and want plexi glass fall in on ur head, and get over charged, that's the place to stay!!! I would rather sleep on a park bench than stay there again!!
      • I have been coming here for a cpl of weeks now on and off. Everything's been great up until today. The staff is sweet and they are renovating which is a huge dif from 10 years ago with my first time here.I found a room I liked and wanted it again. I was here two days ago and felt itchy so before I left I decided to leave a paper inside a pillow case to see if the sheets evr get changed knowing I would like the same room again. Well it appears two days has gone by and they certainly were not changed. I requested new everything and at least this set smells fresh so I'm content for the day but after this weekend is up I will be going elsewhere. I was thinking this was my new fav location till today. I'm very disappointed and hopefully they will give me a discount for my inconvenience and their lack of cleanliness.I will certainly review again if they do Update: two days later I returned thinking it best to just ask for clean sheets to ensure cleanliness myself. I was basically told to leave based on my review. Apparently desiring clean sheets in every room is too much to handle and rather then keeping a customer they chose to stay dirty and lose out. Probably for the best seeing as how I was asked if I could find "hard c" upon leaving the last time I stayed. Seems they can renovate all they want but unless they choose to keep a clean room and environment and change their attitude towards negative feedback they will continue to get it and continue to create their own positive reviews.I'll be contacting the heath department at a random date. Perhaps reading this will ensure someone else or possibly their children don't have to sleep on used sheets some previous guest had. If not, it would be their own fault if they closed down or wetr fined heavily
      • I stayed from Thursday to Saturday (two nights) They have good AC , smoking rooms, and they let you drink. But... It's also a dirty place They didn't changed the towels even that I asked them to give us cleaned ones. They didn't clean the room, one pillow missed.
      • They USED TO have bugs. Since renovation, they are BUG FREE! I've been in about 5 or 6 different rooms on all floors in the past 3 months and had no problems with any type of bugs-thank god!
