Beijing's transportation system has already improved. The government has set up a road network linking all of China's cities to facilitate transportation within the country. A lot of tourists prefer local air travel as it is one of the fastest and safest means of transport.

The train is considered one of the fastest-growing domestic transport routes, which has been monopolized by the State of China, and the city has many different means of transportation that suit all categories and passengers from buses, public buses, taxis and many more.

It is advisable to learn some Chinese words that will help you in dealing with the Chinese in a simple way, in addition to the identification of Chinese traffic signs to know the traffic rules of the city.

One of the city's most popular means of transport is the Taxis, which are available throughout the city. Its cost is medium and suitable for most groups and is one of the most convenient means of transportation especially if you don’t know the way exactly. Taxis are divided into a yellow taxi and black taxi, both available in the city, but the fare of each type varies.

As for the buses, it is one of the cheapest means of transportation in the city and equipped with the feature of automatic call at each station.

Trains are available all over the city at the lowest cost and enable you to reach the place you want as soon as possible.

The city has small buses, which are considered the most suitable means of transport in rural areas of small size.

Since Chinese cities are using environmentally friendly means, the city has set up a special place for cyclists all over the city, which is one of the simplest and cleanest means of transport.

Taxi cars are the most suitable mean of transport because they require little effort, as soon as you lift your hand waving to a taxi driver, you find yourself immersed in a comfortable seat. Moreover, the taxi fare in China is still reasonable; in the day hours in the capital Beijing, it is 13 Yuan for the first three kilometers, plus 2.3 Yuan per kilometer thereafter. This is far less than taxi fare in European capitals. In London, for example, the minimum taxi fare is £ 2.12, and then increases by time and distance, so that the passenger can pay £ 10 for only two kilometers in fifteen minutes. In some cities such as Paris, the taxi driver asks the passenger for additional charges if he has luggage. In Beijing, taxi drivers do not charge additional fees for this service.

Smoking is not allowed for the driver as for the passenger and in the case of a violation, a fine of between 100 and 200 Yuan is required.

Note: Some drivers claim that the meter is defective, please do not use any taxi without a meter because it is a violation punishable by the law to pay a fine between 100 to 200 Yuan.
