  Las Vegas is America’s real life Sin City.   Take a free class (available at most casinos) on how to beat the dealer at poker, blackjack, roulette, or pretty much any other gambling game you’d like to try your hand at, before hitting the infamous casino floors at Caesar’s Palace, The Bellagio or the MGM Grand. Bet in nickels or notes, or hang off the lever of a one armed bandit and hope luck – or, in the case of poker, a little bit of well-honed skill – sees you go home quits, or even covering your hotel bill.
  
  It’s not all about the casinos, though. Regular fight nights bring world class boxing to the strip and a buzz that is unmatched, while the range of high-class hotels is enormous, and incorporates moments of pure luxury like the perfect rainforest replica (birds and all) that is the Mirage Hotel pool, or the Venetian Hotel’s astonishing spa facilities. Stroll into the more affordable Liberace Museum for a taste of the decadent performances of the great pianist and his extraordinary costumes, or climb the Stratosphere Tower for a soaring view over it all, perhaps strapping yourself into the 160ft reverse bungee jump while you’re there.
  
  Of course, what happens in Vegas, stays fin Vegas, which is probably something worth telling your stomach, after you indulge in culinary delights like deep fried Oreos and supersized shrimp cocktails in the lowbrow buffets, or lap up the free drinks that come with laying down a few chips on the green felt, regardless of your stake.
  
  Then there are the shows (though watch your wallet, they can be seriously pricey), the flights out over the Grand Canyon, and collecting something borrowed and something blue ready for that shotgun wedding. Not much is certain in Vegas, but one thing is: you won’t forget your time in these glowing lights in a hurry.
  
  Every year in June and July there's the world series of poker, a large event held in the Rio resort and casino with the best poker players all over the world. So remember what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Go, and have fun!

  North Las Vegas is one of the fastest growing communities. It's a great palce to visit when you want to get away from the tourist crowds and traffic jams in central Las Vegas. There are a variety of casinos and movie theaters located in this area. There's even a drive-in theater that has double features!!
  
  You can even find an ice skating rink at one of the casinos in North Las Vegas.
  
  North Las Vegas definitely has its diamonds in the rough.

• Boulder City

  Boulder City (NV) is a large town about 20 miles south of Las Vegas, NV, with population of about 15,000. Boulder City began as a town that housed workers building the Hoover Dam from about 1930 to 1940. It is the largest city in Nevada, with a total land area of more than 200 square miles.
  
  Boulder City's major attraction is the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead National Recreation Area. It has one major travel arterial: US 93, that runs east and west through the town.

  Desert Hills Hotel is one of my favorite places to stay in downtown Las Vegas. The experience was most excellent. Close enough to all the fun Fremont Street Experience has to offer but without all the noise and people. The front desk was fast and awesome with only taking a few mins. of my time. They are so cheerful and welcoming. With no waiting lines of people to check at all, before I knew it I was in my newly upgraded room. The Desert Hills Hotel has some of the cleanest hotels rooms to stay at on Fremont Street. The room was perfect from the coolest A/C, to the warmest shower, and how could I forget a very nice comfortable king sized bed. The Room service and the cleaning ladies were top notch. If you looking for a nice place to stay at a great price you can not do any better. I had a blast and so will you staying at the Desert Hills Hotel.

  This place is the most dirty and nasty motel I have ever visited. The bed sheets were stained (ask for more sheets, and they still bring you stained sheets. Talking about they are cleaned, they just look like that), the tub was peeling and the water pressure sucks really bad. Colleen is the worst front desk person I have ever came in contact with. If you ask for a phone number to call their boss, they give you an email address instead. And on top of that it's the wrong email address and when you call back to get the correct email address, Colleen just ask you for your name and number and claims that she will call you back. But never does. Oh and if any of the things that you did not mess up (for example, the stained sheets that they give you), they will take it out of your money. Never go to this place, it's disgusting.

  The check in process was easy. There was a required deposit of $100. It was charged at the same time as the room, and I did not have to do anything special for the refund of the deposit. It goes right back to the card after a few days. The motel grounds are kept clean, paint is in great shape. Nice modern colors. The room was a non smoking room and I did not detect any old smoke residue smell at all, like I have in other motels. Air conditioner worked well, and was running on our arrival. Fridge was cold also. Sheets and comforter were spotless. And although there was more dust built up on the furnishings than at my home, lol, the actual surfaces that come in contact with your belongings are clean and not dusty at all. The carpet however, left the bottoms of our feet black. Very large shower with decent water pressure, but didn't personally like the shower head being in the ceiling. Felt the water pressure should have been stronger for that setup. Hot water is governed. I would definitely stay again. Would recommend to friends.

  It's a nice place if you have to stay for a week they have refrigerator and microwave and great service

  I loved the service. Theyre adding a new option for amazon fire stick renting which is absolutely amazing. The rooms were delicately taken care of and not a bug or other in sight.
