• Burlington

  Burlington is Vermont's "Queen City". The eclectic mix of students, business professionals, artistic types, families, and musicians make the entire downtown a lively place.
  
  The brick steets of the Church Street Marketplace are lined with cozy shops, restaurants and cafes. On a spring or summer day you find the outdoor seating ares full of people. The Marketplace is in the center of downtown. It is perfect for a romantic dinner, with a many choices to suit any budget or taste. For shoppers there are lots of unique and name brand shops, and also many very small street vendors.
  
  All year long there are many special events and festivals held. The year starts off with First Night, Burlington's New Years celebration. Every major holiday has events in the downtown area. For nighttime fun Main street is dotted with many bars, and a few clubs. There are even a few venues that host live musical acts from all over - Muddy Waters. Performers range from small independent artists, to well a well known household name band.

  The Lake of Champlain water's edge attaches Burlington city to the Westside. You will find there a wide walkway with move back and forth, aquarium and a lot of parks. Numerous concerts festivals and events are held on the waterfront every year. There is also a ferry crossing to New York state. A little north of downtown, but still in Burlington there are public beaches usually packed full in the summer months.
  
  Burlington truly is a nice place to visit...so don't pass it by!

  The beds are soft if you're looking to just sleep. The heaters don't go lower than 90 degrees. There are crotch hairs in my bathtub that do not belong to me. This place is a mess.

  Rooms needed a bit of love and were dated. Breakfast bar was crowded but the food itself was decent. Not much around the hotel except mostly fast food outlets. An ok place to spend a night or two.

  If I could rate this place a negative star I would. We complained and asked for another room as there were suspicious signs of bedbugs in room (blood on sheets, box spring and black dried blood on corners of box spring). They refused to change our room, and were quick to point out that the room was non-refundable. Manager Julie was rude, and uninterested in even looking at the photos I took as proof of our complaint. Just to clarify we did not see any bugs however there were definitely signs that it did at one point and no effort to clean things up has been made. I won't be staying here ever again.
• Random Intellectual
  The room was spotless. Pool was clean with plenty of towels available. The whole staff we found to be great. The breakfast was an amazing selection to choose from eggs, bacon, waffles, pancakes, biscuits, cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, & danishes. I had to leave for work before the scheduled breakfast time & was allowed to get what I needed. We stayed 4 nights & loved it.
• Throw Away
  Awful, horrible experience. The rooms were filthy, the house keepers seemed over stressed, and the manager was awful. I could tell the front desk workers hated it there, I'm never staying again, and advise EVERYONE to avoid it at all costs. I'd rather sleep on the ground outside than ever step foot in a hotel managed by her in again.
