Overview You can't Edit
Users Assigned: KazmiPrescott Valley, Dewey-Humboldt and Chino Valley are all towns of Prescott that shelter 40,000 people. These comprise of the “Quad City” which is within the city, Yavapai County, Arizona’s vicinity.
Prescott prides itself on its friendly atmosphere and unique western setting, only 90 minutes north of Phoenix, AZ. There are more than 800 buildings that are listed in the National Register of Historic Places. This includes many buildings on Whiskey Row, a historical red-light district in the downtown area. Its panoramic views are worth the trip.
The current downtown plaza -- named as one of the Top Ten Public Spaces in the United States by the American Planning Association -- is the heart of Prescott. During the summer months, visitors and locals alike can jam to five nights of free, live entertainment. The plaza also hosts community events, arts, crafts, and car shows.
The town still is able offer a small-town feel. There are a variety of golf and country clubs, restaurants, museums and live entertainment. The outdoor recreation is very popular among the locals. The city offers more than twenty parks and five popular lakes.
