St. LouisOnce the home of Chuck Berry, and known as the Gateway to the West, St. Louis is now most noted for that iconic archway, an ultra-modern metallic curve next to the Mississippi River that stretches to 630ft., making it the highest man-made monument in the whole of the States. I've only come here for drinks and spa treatments, so this is not a review on the "hotel" experience per se.That said, if you're in the mood for a few quick drinks in an elegant, modern, upscale place in So Ma, St. Aegis would rank high on your short list.Their spa is super relaxing, too. I love how the pool is practically deserted during the day. You can have lunch sent to the poolside, lounge around, and sip cocktails in complete privacy. The place is always tidy, clean, and comfortable. Soothing to just think about it!

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around... We stayed at the Moonrise after a concert we attended at The Pageant which is right next door. This is the second time we have stayed and both times the staff have ALL been very helpful and pleasant and very accommodating. The rooms are clean and the beds are so comfortable! Rooms are a little pricey but for one night they're not horribly bad. A great place to stay and definitely the way to go if you're seeing a show at The Pageant or Delmar Hall.

My favorite place to be during the summer! Perfect for a date or just a gathering with friends! Beautiful view from the rooftop of both Downtown Saint Louis & Clayton/ U City! Cozy, intimate atmosphere! Extremely spacious with beautiful decor!! Drinks are amazing and so is the service!

Located on the amazing del Mar street, moonrise hotel is located just steps from the best restaurants and attractions in St Louis. The space theme brings a fun concept to the hotel scene and makes your time away from home feel like time on another planet! Plenty of free parking in the back and large rooms and beds to make you feel out of this world
