      • Colorado Springs
As far as inspirational, unavoidably beautiful outdoor adventures spots go, Colorado Springs has to be pretty hard to match. Watch the US Olympic team train, spend an afternoon at the bottom of a 1000ft gold mine or explore the incredible trails of Pike’s Peak. Sleep it off in a satisfied, energy-drained slumber and then do the same again the next day: what more could you ask for from a stunning, adventure-ridden region?

If you want a taste of how things used to be, pass on the museums and head for Buckskin Joe’s frontier town instead, where the main street descends into gunfight at regular intervals, and you can end the day with a scenic train ride through the pines. Next up, drop in on the sharp pinnacles of the Garden of the Gods, where craggy spikes pierce the skyline, or dance amongst the Manitou Cave Dwellings with the Native Americans, exploring an old and long forgotten lifestyle.

The hair-raising vertical shaft of the Mollie Kathleen gold mine is another one of the seemingly endless must sees, still tinged with gold inside and layered with impressive history. Climb the winding road to the tip of Pike’s Peak, enjoying the dusty course immortalized in cult video game Gran Turismo, or choose the cog railway and spend the ride enjoying ever more spectacular panoramas across the Colorado countryside.

Another essential local experience is the Colorado Gorge, which you can travel through on the gorge railway, over by helicopter or on the Royal Gorge Bridge. The impressive selection of wines on offer locally will keep your evenings luxurious and lightheaded, especially if you check out the stunning tasting rooms at the Holy Cross Abbey, while the striking machines at the Museum of Mining and Industry will keep technology buffs happy.

Colorado is all about the scenery, and in the Colorado Springs area it really is exceptional, the kind of place where it’s tempting to throw on a rucksack and drift off into the landscape for weeks at a time. Make the most of the dramatic scenery by heading up hills and exploring the dramatic human side of it all.

        • Love their sushi here. Lion King is my favorite! Lunch combos are great deals - Teriyaki chicken and tempura give me a good variety yummy selections.
        • This has always been my go-to sushi spot in town. I love the atmosphere and the sushi is always great! A couple of times recently the service wasn't as great, but that is not usually true.
        • Probably the best sushi in Colorado springs. Great food, good service. Yummy and spider last night were delicious.
        • The free soup in the start is very legit. Other than that the rice quality isn't there some of it was barely sticky. Spicy tuna roll from happy hour tasted like tomato paste. The ginger is really good though. So if you like soup and ginger get in there otherwise hit sushi ring
        • The sushi here is always good. However, don't show up if you have any plans in the forseable future. I waited 35 mins for one roll and there was only one other table with people at it. Also, had to ask for my beer 15 min after I ordered it. Good food incredibly slow service.
        • Best japanese and sushi experience
        • Not COLORADO Springs's best sushi restaurant. The food is fine but smaller portions for a higher price. Service is OK. Jun has two locations in town.
        • I eat here for lunch meetings, get carry out for working lunches and for dinner with the family. VERY tastey roll options. NOT low priced but I think it's worth it. The kids love the experience of the grill, also NOT low priced. Free soup is delicious.
        • Holy 🐙, Batman + delicious squid & miso soup - lightly seasoned, often bland food - high prices - small proportions
        • Nice little hidden Tepanyaki place. Very good sushi too!
        • Nice little hidden Tepanyaki place. Very good sushi too!
        • Amazing food and beautiful restaurant. Remember to take off your shoes before climbing into the sunkin tables! Be respectful
        • The food was really good and our chef was amazing! Portions were pretty small and you have to pay extra for fried rice?!? The steak and shrimp is 28 bucks. I shouldn't have to pay extra for fried rice. Also, the served miso soup. Gross. Probably won't come back even though the experience was good.
        • Jun is and always will be my first choice whenever it comes to Japanese cuisine. My grandmother is a old friend with the owners, I was raised enjoying their sushi and the great staff that always makes us happy. You won't be disappointed. 😍
        • Came in right after they opened for lunch. Was immediately sat down at the sushi bar with a sushi menu. Sushi chef offered help with anything I wanted to know, and I was given miso soup and a delicious little cucumber salad. I ordered my sushi, and it was ready in about 7 minutes. Everything tasted great, and I am looking forward to trying other sushi from them.
        • I went here for my birthday, and this definitively the best sushi place in town. I intend to try hibachi next time and see how it compares to Musashi's, my current favorite hibachi grill. But overall, the atmosphere is phenomenal! Definitely visit!
        • Very slowly service. Waitress spoke so quiet we couldn't hear her, soup can out with meal, didn't even get a chance to eat it. Very good food and great prices.
        • Great food and great staff! I can't wait for our next trip back! Delicious!
        • I love this sushi place! I ate lunch alone and sat up at the sushi bar. Had a friendly chat with the sushi chef. Their sushi rolls are beautiful, delicious and fresh! I ordered the Blind Date Roll and the MCI Roll. Blind Date is served cold and is a little bit spicy & the MCI roll is served at a hot temperature and is very sweet. I would recommend both of these rolls - they are both outstanding! I will definitely be back. I wish I had taken a picture of my rolls so I could upload it. They were so beautiful.
        • I have been going to Jun for sushi when his only location was on North Academy. His location in Centennial is my favorite sushi restaurant in town. I love the Blind Date roll and his spicy tuna roll is the best. Jun is usually in the restaurant either making sushi or checking on his guests. If you haven't tried Jun you should.
        • Delicious hibachi and great service! It was really great to meet Joel, and his presentation and food were amazing. My boyfriend and his dad love this place and I can see why!
        • Great food, but beware of the portion sizes... They're huge! We are used to sushi restaurants from Northern Virginia where 2-3 rolls per person is about right. Here it's like 1-2. Very kind service and delicious food, what more could you want?
        • I got the rainbow roll and the bad boy roll. These rolls were stuffed. They were huge. Fish was fresh. I will definitely eat here again.
        • I really enjoyed this location (they have two). They provided good service, they answered all of my questions regarding menu items and, most importantly, the sushi was great. I had the salmon sashimi and the rainbow roll. I think that this might be my new “sushi spot”. I will definitely be back to this location again.
        • Love this place--the people, the food, the atmosphere. The yummy roll is my favorite. Nearly weekly visits for over a year and never a bad experience.
        • Love this place. Jared is awsome. Always makes great gluten free rolls. Love Jun Too. I go there frequently.
        • KINDA DICEY ATMOSPHERE. Apprehension fills the air. Food good. Not amazing. Not bad. Good. Dimly lit room, can sit on feet if you're into that. Sushi chefs are from Mountain Dew commercial. Owner woman brags about how she can afford a BMW. Takes a while to get to-go order.
        • One of the cleanest Japanese/Sushi restaurants I've been to. The owner, Jun, is super friendly and will take time out of his busy day to some say hi and check to see how things are. We've never had to send anything back but I'm confident, he'd take care of us. Tip: If available, try the Butterfish.
        • Julie and Jarad were so kind, helpful and friendly! Julie taught me how to use chopsticks and gave me a cheater to help me. Jarad made the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. (UFO). I highly recommend and will be back!! Thank you for the amazing service!!

        • First off the chef, Jose, is excluded from this rating. He did a great job, engaging my kids as he cooked in front of us. So, 5 stars for him. We went to this place for the first time due to the great reviews online for my husbands birthday. Made reservations for 5. Restaurant was not even half full when we got there with a very apologetic hostess who kept saying she was going to be with us very soon take our order. After 30 minutes (!!!) I went to the kitchen and told them we would leave if no one was coming to take our drink orders, at which point they jumped into action. Drinks ordered. Only my husband's beer glass was caked on with gunk like someone with wet flour hands had touched it. More apologies. Then it took another 10 mins to get a new glass and us reminding them twice. We ordered and asked if we could substitute noodles for rice, and were told that that was no problem. The waitress did not tell us that there is an upcharge for ramen noodle of $3 each order, and that was not welcomed when the bill came with a $12 upcharge. They skimp on veggies. At least 4parts onion to 1 part zucchini/mushroom. Why do I have to pay $30 + dollars for sandy scallops and onions? On top of that under our table were dozens of dried, caked on pieces of nasty gum. Don't they clean? I have never been so disappointed. We are never going back to this place. I will take my next hard-earned $200 for one celebratory meal to another restaurant.
        • Went here for lunch. It's a quint little spot for sushi. It was very fresh and priced reasonably. Service was a little slow but I wouldn't want that to deter you from going. I'd go back again.
        • Had a lovely birthday meal. Food was delicious and there was a lot of it! Good service as well.
        • Julie and Jarad were so kind, helpful and friendly! Julie taught me how to use chopsticks and gave me a cheater to help me. Jarad made the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. (UFO). I highly recommend and will be back!! Thank you for the amazing service!!
        • Food was amazing! Nice setup you can even choose to sit japanese style! Grear sushi! 🍣
        • Nice little place, we sat at the bar and enjoyed the company of the 2 sushi chefs. The sushi pieces were abnoxiously large and the spicy tuna had too much 'other' filler stuff that gave it a different taste. Overall, it was a great dinner and would definitely go back.
        • Wonderful ambience, attentive waitstaff and nice prices on good food. I ordered the Cadet Roll and the portions were huge. I'll be back for sure!
        • We've enjoyed getting takeout here before and finally came in today to sit down. Food was alright. Waited over an hour to get it when another group came in after us and got their food before us. Asked the waitress what was up. She went back and came back to tell us that the kitchen was really busy. Manager never came out to speak with us which we thought was weird. He put his responsibilities on our waitress Lyn, instead, who was great despite all this. He had her run back and forth 3 times with us relaying messages to him. We asked to speak with him directly finally bc this was getting out of hand. Bald guy with head wrap who was supposed to be the manager came to argue with us that our experiece was not how we saw it; that the other group DID NOT in fact get their food before us. He was rude and looked pissed off. Also, we've seen him speaking rudely to staff before when we were picking up our takeout. The food is not worth going there to have this kind of interaction with management. Awful customer service skills.
        • Extremely disappointing. The place was empty and it took 20 minutes to get soup. Then the plates we were served were filthy. It took 40 more minutes to get our sushi and the tempura was so over cooked it was like eating tree bark. I would not recommend this place to anyone! Please save your time and money!
        • We did the hibachi grill and the guy cooking the food for us was phenomenal! He was so friendly and funny. I was smiling the whole time ! And the food he made was great !!! I believe his name was Joel . Definitely request him if you go here and use the hibachi gril !!
        • Food is great! They have a big sake selection. Unfortunately, they seem very understaffed. I only saw one server and one cleaner doing all of the tables, very slow service. The servers work hard, but they can only do so much by themselves. I do consistently get slow service at Jun's, but I go back because the food is always good!
        • The Habachi chef is outstanding! They are very understaffed. Servers are very slow and not a lot of attention to detail. But the food is great. Best soup in town. Sushi was warm and smelly
        • This place is just consistently Good - the service, the food, the atmosphere. Never disappointed or wishing I had chosen a different place.
