• Jacksonville

  Jacksonville, Florida is located on Florida's First Coast and is the largest city by area not only in northeast Florida, but in the entire continental United States. Jacksonville has a wealth of beaches, excellent shopping, great restaurants, and is rich in history.
  
  The city has several historical sites including Kingsley Plantation, Fort Clinch, Fort Caroline, and the Timucuan Preserve. It is also home to the largest contemporary art museum in the southeastern United States as well as the Cummer Art Gallery.
  
  In 1901 a majority of downtown Jacksonville burned down in a massive fire causing the locals to have to rebuild the entire region. The Museum of Science and History has a great exhibit dedicated to this disaster. After the city started undergoing repair, New York filmmakers discovered the area and flocked here in the winters to film movies.
  
  High temperatures in the city range from 50's and 60's in the winter and the high 90's in the summer. The locals say they experience only two seasons, summer and spring, as the leaves never change colors and there is rarely snow.
  
  Jacksonville has a wonderful zoo with many beautiful animals including primates, snakes, giraffes, rhinos, and elephants!
  
  Please be aware of the high crime rate when traveling to Jacksonville, especially for events that are extremely popular, such as the annual Florida-Georgia football game.

  the staff is very polite and knowledgeable. Dr. Lancaster is a great doctor and I would recommend his to anyone in need of his service. He explains everything so you can understand what your needs are and make you feel that he is concerned about your problem.

  The place was easy to find with lots of parking spots. The front counter staff were friendly and efficient. Waiting times were acceptable. Dr. Hastings was pleasant and very easy to deal with. Diagnosed my problem in short order. X-ray tech was great.

  Making an appointment was very easy. Once I decided to have surgery, immediate contact was made with my PCP and cardiologist to get the process started. The facility is extremely clean and welcoming. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. 🙂

  Dr. Whittaker is great. Friendly staff, nice office. They take care of your needs. I've broken my wrist and shoulder and they have always taken care of the situation. My only complaint is they are a far distance from the elevator. If I had a broken leg, ankle, etc., it's a long haul to get to their office.
