      • Cincinnati
One of the most well-known cities in the United States, long considered to be the first American boomtown in the heart of the country, Cincinnati has a history as one of the first major inland cities in the country. Many individuals consider this to be the first true American city, due to the fact that it lacked the European influences of the East Coast with its continual influx of immigrants.

These days it is home to several major sports teams, with a rich American history that has been colored over the years by a large number of events. The Reds have been involved in several of those events. This is the perfect place to catch a baseball game, ride a paddle-wheel boat down the Ohio River, or just explore some of the cultural and historical history that has built the city into what it is today.

Initially founded in 1788, Cincinnati rapidly transformed in the mid 19th century into one of the most important cities in the nation, known by many as the Queen of the West. Over the years it has continued to expand, and these days it is home to a wide variety of major American corporations. It has a distinctly multi-cultured background, which can be explored in the variety of festivals which occur throughout the year, ranging from their own version of Oktoberfest—the largest of its kind in the United States—to the Tall Stacks festival celebrating the city’s riverboat history or the Taste of Cincinnati festival.

The city is famous for its particular brand of chili, and the music and arts scene here is particularly large-scale. There are two major league teams, six minor-league teams, and five college sports teams, which boils down to one thing: Cincinnatians love their sports.

For an all-around all-American city where everything from the founding history to the modern day goings-on are related to American culture, there's no better place to experience the United States than in Cincinnati.

        • When I called to make the appointment everybody I talked to was super friendly and knowledgeable. However, my actual appointment was not the same experience. I felt like vaccines and pills were forced on me that I knew I didn't need. When I asked the nurse to look something up on the CDC's website she responded with "I don't have that website". I felt as though my health was being treated as a sales opportunity and will not return to this establishment again.
        • $35 just to sign a piece of paper... C'mon guys....
        • Stevie was super helpful for me! This was a great one stop shop for me to get everything I needed taken care of prior to my trip to India.
        • TRAVELER BEWARE: If you do not accept their recommended vaccinations the $50 visit turns into a $100 visit. I scheduled a visit with Passport Health after being referred there by the Cincinnati Health Department. They do not want you to take their recommendation and go somewhere that actually accepts your health insurance. They did not inform me of this until I was in the actual appointment. I had no intention of ripping them off, but I felt swindled by their tactics. I will never visit them again and I will also inform the Health Department of my experience. For what it's worth, they did have information together for the country I was traveling to and information about international travel in general. Not worth the price of the visit in my opinion. Do research online and schedule an appointment with your family doctor or some place that accepts your insurance.
        • "Mother Stevie" was such a sweet blessing! She gave a very thorough consult, and aided in helping me to feel confident in my journey to Nigeria. The booklet she prepared was very helpful too! I will definitely go back. Thank you! -"Butterfly"
        • I had the best time learning about what to expect on my trip. The information was specific and the personal attention made me feel more at ease about traveling abroad. I thought I was just going to get a shot and be out of there. Who knew, I'd learn so much and really make a friend there. I'd go there every time before an overseas trip because they teach you so much!
        • From the time I walked into the office, I was impressed by how amazingly comfortable the waiting area was. The staff was friendly and helpful and "Nurse" Leah had a gentle way with a syringe (which was greatly appreciated by the 7th inoculation). The video was informative and the folio created specifically for my trip will be very useful. Thank you all for a very nice experience.
        • I went to passport health before my trip to Ghana. Everyone was very helpful, especially Stevie who was very knowledgeable. They were very thorough. Passport Health is upfront in that they do not bill insurance, but you can call the insurance company to try to be reimbursed. I gave four stars because they do not bill insurance and I am still trying to be reimbursed from my insurance company.
        • Stevie was very thorough and made me feel very comfortable and confident with the information that she presented us with. Additionally, I think that she was willing to take her time with us and make us feel like we are in safe hands with the protection from the various diseases we could potentially contract. I am pleased with the experience, although it was a bit lengthy I understand it was very important to get all the adequate information and prevention techniques.
