• St. Gallen

  St. Gallen is the capital of the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
  
  It is the largest town in easter Switzerland (with around 160,000 inhabitants). The main tourist attraction is the Abbey of St. Gall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its renowned library contains books which date to the 9th century.
  
  St. Gallen is situated in the north-eastern part of Switzerland in a valley around 700 meters above sea level. It is one of the highest cities in Switzerland and it can receive a lot of snow in winter. The town is nicely situated between Lake Constance and the mountains of the Appenzell Alps (with the Säntis as the highest peak at 2502 meters). It therefore offers excellent recreation areas nearby.

• Liechtenstein

  Most recently in the spotlight due to the tax-haven nature of the country and the resulting controversies between itself and the United States, Liechtenstein is a tiny Alpine country sandwiched between Switzerland and Austria. While an independent state, it has close ties to Switzerland, and is considered the last remnant of the old Holy Roman Empire. The country has an exceptionally high standard of living and features some of the most amazing mountain scenery on the planet, with its capital of Vaduz being a major center of international banking and commerce for tax haven individuals from all sorts of countries.
  
  Liechtenstein is known for its natural beauty, and rightfully so. There are literally dozens of medieval castles, cathedrals, and Gothic remnants scattered throughout the countryside, and the mountains within the country are quite possibly the most stunning ever seen. Accommodations and transportation are the highest standard, but are also exceptionally pricey. The country boasts one of the highest personal income rates in the world, and it has become known as a tax haven over the years, with over one-third of the population being made up of foreigners, and the country is constantly working on keeping its relations with the European Union at the highest level.
  
  Due to the relative smallness of the country, and the fact that most of the population lives within the Rhine Valley, it's fairly easy to see most of Liechtenstein during just one trip. Most people coming here are doing so for one of two reasons: to take advantage of the tax haven status or to explore the mountainous countryside. There are literally dozens of hiking and biking trails, and some of the best mountain biking terrain in the world. Overall, the country feels fairly Swiss, which is natural given its close ties to Switzerland. In fact, there is no airport within Liechtenstein, with the closest being in Zurich, so getting here means you will probably be doing so from its neighbor in the first place.
  
  Liechtenstein covers an area of 160 square Kilometers and has a population of 34,000(2003). The lowest point is 430m above sea level and the highest point 2599m

  In Hahn reigns verschissenste service I've ever seen in my life. A few colleagues and I wanted to enter the hotel when we suddenly an old box has closed the door in his face and said that this was closed. Although outside the hotel already parked some cars. When we had the door drove half an hour later, of course, re-open and the car park was even better filled. Find something a joke! This useless old hag should be ashamed. Ein paar Kollegen und ich wollten das Hotel betreten als uns plötzlich eine alte Schachtel die Türe vor der Nase zugemacht hat und meinte das dieses geschlossen sei. Obwohl vor dem Hotel schon einige Autos parkten. Als wir eine halbe Stunde später wieder vorbeifuhren war natürlich die Türe wieder offen und der Parkplatz war noch besser gefüllt. Finde sowas eine Frechheit ! Dieses unnütze alte Schachtel sollte sich schämen . So wie sie aussah war die blade Sau eh selbst ihr bester Kunde. Danke fürs Lesen !

Am zweiten Tag waren wir etwas spät dran und kamen erst 9:45 Uhr. Da hat die Dame uns zurechtgewiesen, dass Frühstück nur bis 9:30 Uhr ist und wir halt schauen sollten was halt noch am Buffet ist. Als sie den Kaffee gebracht hat, wurden wir nochmals unhöflich aufmerksam gemacht, wann das Frühstück sei. Das Zimmer wurde in den drei Tagen nie richtig gemacht, weder Bett noch Duschgel aufgefüllt. Beim WC ist die Tür mit Glasscheibe ausgestattet, gegenüber war das Sofa. Für 70 Euro pro Nacht und pro Person ist das viel zu teuer.

Frühstück - Altes oder aufgebackenes bzw. trockenes Gebäck, Buffet an sich so lala. Personal - nur zwei Personen: die Dame des Hauses an der Rezeption welche auch ein wenig für das Frühstück zuständig ist und der Herr des Hauses welcher die Rolle des Kochs, des Hausmeisters und des Zimmermädchens übernimmt. Mein Tipp -> HÄNDE WEG von dem Hotel - ist max. zwei Sterne Wert.
