San JoseSan Jose is located about an hour southeast of San Francisco, and about 5-6 hours north of Los Angeles. It is at the southern mouth of the San Francisco Bay. Unless you take the coastal route, you will definitely pass through San Jose going between LA and SF along 101 en route to the 5.
With a population of more than 1 million, a brand new modern city hall, an international airport, and location in the Silicon Valley, San Jose is still probably not a major tourist destination, but a business destination. If you are a tourist, the Winchester Mystery Mansion in located here. You may also enjoy the Tech Museum and the new City Hall in downtown San Jose. If you're in the shopping mood and some good food head to Santana Row.
San Jose is the host of the annual Grand Prix car race for 2 years now, and it transforms downtown San Jose into a race track for 3 days at the end of July.
For those that survived the dot com bubble they have found sanctuary on Santana Row, a boulevard of high class eateries, cafes, and designer shopping. It's also a great place for nightlife. The restaurants/bars transform into a nightclub.

Needed a place to stay while visiting a family member. Much better hotels for a better value on the weekends but during the week this was the best I could afford at the time. It was clean and the rooms were updated nicely.

Very clean enviornment, welcoming and very helpful polite staff. From check in to check out my stay was cozy. Very fairly priced place and didn't throw me off with my strict budget on my business trip.

My experience here was bad would I recommend it.. NO .! The carpet smells bad walking in, we got a non-smoking room & it still smelled bad not to mention the AC was all cracked had some car freshener in the vent of it. Which just made the room smell horrible. The shower sucks we had not hot water. The Tvs are really old, the breakfast sucks all options were just bread .. Also one of our lamps didn't work.

Not very clean, dirty carpet, small bathroom, overpriced food and drinks in the front office. Very friendly staff and comfortable beds, lots of parking space, decent sized pool and affordable rates.

The shower is broken, one of the lamp build is dead, one of our key to get in doesn't work, old fashion chair the 📺 suck. The other that is nice is the bed. The air condition is old fashion.
