TRANSPORT SERVICES IN AGRA
There are many modes available in Agra which connect the city to many tourist attraction sites in Agra and other major cities in India. They include public buses, rickshaws, cycle rickshaws, taxis, trains, and air transport.
ROAD TRANSPORT
Agra has a well developed road transport system. The city is 204 kilometers away from Delhi. Buses, coaches and taxis are readily available to carry passengers within and outside Agra. Agra is one of three stops on India's Golden Triangle, Agra to Delhi to Jaipur.
Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) provides public bus transport services in Agra city.
In Taj Mahal area, no petrol or diesel are allowed in order to maintain the beauty of the marble monument. There are pollution free means of road transport that takes you to the monument including horse driven tongas, tempo, battery operated buses and rick shaws.
Pre-paid taxes also provide transport services within Agra city. Rickshaws and auto rickshaws are the main modes of transport to various tourist attraction sites in Agra.

Several taxis offer transport services within and outside Agra city. A prepaid taxi booth outside Agra Cantt provides information on the recommended taxi charges.

Agra fort is a thirty minutes walk away from Taj Mahal and on a cycle rickshaw, INR-40 is charged for the same distance. Camels offer transport services within the region.
By BUS
The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department provides a number of buses that offer transportation services to tourist attraction sites in Agra. The municipal corporation of Agra also has a lot of buses both A/C and non A/C that operate to various places within Agra. Uttar Pradesh Road Transport Corporation offers air conditioned and non air conditioned buses that only operate specific routes in Agra. Idgah bus stand in Agra which is the largest bus stands connects Agra to other cities in Northern India.

The popular Agra Airport located in the heart of the Agra city, is a major transport hub providing a reliable and efficient means of transport for the locals and visitors of Agra.

11057 Amritsar Express is the first train that leaves Agra heading to Delhi is. It departs from Agra at 00:16 AM and arrives Delhi at 04:10 AM. 22403. Puducherry New Delhi Express is the last train that leaves Agra for Delhi. It departs from Agra at 23:50 PM and arrives at 03:55 AM.
The fastest train that will take you from Agra to Delhi is 12001 New Delhi Shatabdi E. It departs from Agra at 20:35 and it takes exactly 70 minutes to reach its destination.
U Abhatoofan Express 13007 departs from Agra at 14:25 and it takes a maximum of 5h 15m reach Delhi.
Agra to Mumbai trains:
The journey from Agra to Mumbai takes approximately 23 hours by train. Train 12138 departs Agra Cantt Railway station at 8.30 am and arrives Mumbai at 7.30 the following morning.
