The Basilica of St. Sernin (Occitan: Basilica de Sant Sarnin) is a church in Toulouse, France, the former abbey church of the Abbey of St. Sernin or St. Saturnin. Apart from the church, none of the abbey buildings remain. The current church is located on the site of a previous basilica of the 4th century which contained the body of Saint Saturnin or Sernin, the first bishop of Toulouse in c. 250. Most of the current building was constructed in the Romanesque style between about 1080 and 1120, wi...

Here are some reviews of Toulouse-Blagnac Airport - don't forget to let us know how you got on by using the drop box at the bottom of the page, or joining our community and making a review.

        • I understand that at arrival; the country was in a SoE. Nevertheless, three planes arrived at the same time and only 2 employees checking passports. There were no queues so it turned into a circus of about 400 people jammed into a room. All instructions were only given in French so we had no idea what was happening. After 1.5 hours, someone glanced out our passports and let us through.
        • The airport was quite clean and modern looking. But the main drawbacks with this airport is that the food options are scarce and there is a lack of water fountains in the terminal that gets unbearably hot with the sunlight coming through the huge glass windows. Otherwise, it's a good airport.
        • The airport is superb but I just went to the Tax Free office Douanes, it's far from everything in a corner of the airport and you have to ring a bell and wait for a green light... You have no sign to tell you that someone acknowledged your call... And when finally the gentleman opened the door someone came barking at me cause I rang the bell with insistence he kept saying very aggressively and insistently non pleasant comments. The actual gentlemen who processed my Tax Free form was nice and embarrassed by his colleague. Very unpleasant situation...I m actually boarding on my way back to Australia. Hope the guy was in one of this bad day's cause it doesn't give a nice memory toward the end of your trip in France.
        • The very best ever in the world air port
        • Staff is completely nonsense in their organisation. They treat travelers as if they're stupid making them queue around with no reason like cows and being very rude trying to convince themselves they are working but in fact are just showing off as if they were authorities. I haven't had the opportunity to get the names of the employees but they were at gate 45, on November 15th at 8:00 at the Ryanair flight to Madrid. I'm making a complaint at the airport website as well as here.
        • Good facilities, spacious airport, many places to sit, sleep or charge phone. Water fountains by every bathroom
        • This airport is good in general BUT has the worst border check service ever !!! Only 4 on 6 gates opened on a friday which is a busy day !! This is completely irresponsible and disrestpectful for all passengers and companies ! No indication about the expected time to wait (those signs are however at the security), 2 poor person to try to manage the priority crowd and resulting delays in flight. This shows a shame of France for all foreigners as a developping airport you have full responsibility to improve and quickly. Built at least 10 gates, which have to be openened acording the fliw to limit waiting time by 10min maximum. And inform the passenger about the waiting time it is the minimal service you have to give. so Action next time I travel to Toulouse I and all passengers expect great improvement to be done. Otherwise I will make sure I won't travel through your lazy gates !!!
        • This airport is a disgrace - first of all the wifi doesn't work on most devices, since they only adopted 5 GHz standard, which does not work on most smartphones. Even if you connect, the network drops off randomly. Second of all, they treat passengers as idiots, making them wait at the border control for no reason, two planes arrived full of passengers and they had ONE person checking passports. This is ridiculous, France is now worse than developing country - if they insist on checking passports, just assign more people there so we don't have to wait ONE hour until someone checks our passport for 5 seconds. Absolutely ridiculous. This airport is totally MISMANAGED, amazing, this is France in 2017. Fly through other nearby airports if you can!
        • You can find everything easily, the airport is very 'user friendly'. The tram is close to the arrivals and it takes only 30 minutes to reach the centre of Toulouse.
        • Poor wifi. Unfriendly staff. Horribly poor information about public transport. Screaming loudspeakers.
        • Getting in: 350 people on our flight, upon landing - 2 people at border control, it took almost an hour to get processed (and we were half way up the queue). Getting out: We were a few hours early for our flight so had to wait on the B lounge. Everything is double price here, once you go through the scanners there is one sandwich deli, one tiny customs shop and one shop that sells a few bits) - they all closed at 8pm. The wifi sucks, the furniture is falling apart etc.

        • Good size airport. Great connection to downtown Toulouse with the new tramway!
        • Good rental car close to terminal Terrible lounges Disastrous queues at passport control
        • A bit of a line for security and got a little mad at playing the piano a little too loud but over all great experience
        • Clean amd comfortable airport. Excellent service.
        • Small airport with relatively nice shopping and eating possibilities. Sometimes it takes extremely long to go through passport control.
        • Security staff seem unaware of the difference between a solid and a liquid. EasyJet check in/bag drop was chaos, only 3 desks open when at least 4 flights worth of people were trying to check in. And this is pre peak "school holiday" season.
        • I work there everyday and it's one of the best airport I've been to.
        • Quick and easy transits, has all the basics and staff are friendly and efficient.
        • If you are in a connecting flight this is the worst EU airport to have to change flights. You are obliged to go to through a passport control regardless of whether you have a EU or French passport and leave through baggage claim only to pass through security as if it was your first flight and then another passport check, security agents are rude and you might loose your connecting flight as the whole process might take an hour at rush time and then it will not be easy to claim against the airline company as you arrive an hour before the next flight. Incredibly way to waste government money on several controls that are counterproductive.
        • I've only used this airport once, but I'm a fan. Why? There's plenty of seating at the gates and at my gate (I assume others are the same) there was a set of power outlets at each row of seats. That alone is far better than most UK airports. Additionally, the vending machines at the gate I used accepted contactless payments! This is incredibly useful, as not everyone carries cash. Also, the contents were fairly reasonably priced. Bien fait, Toulouse!
        • Expensive eating possibilities. Lovely bum seats. Ok if wanting to fly to Toulouse (closest airport to Toulouse) Bon
        • This airport would should be a 3 or 4 but it's brought down by their ridiculous security. Going through the standard check-in I presented my bag of liquids only to have my bag pulled aside and for a staff member to pull out the wedge of brie I'd bought to take home. I was told it was a liquid and over 100ml so would have to be disposed of! Despite pointing out cheese is rarely a liquid and this one being measured in grams rather than litres lead me to believe it was a solid the officer refused to change his stance and so I gave up my brie. It seems a little over the top to say the least and particularly silly considering France is such a big exporter of cheese. Be warned when travelling through this airport may lose your cheese!
        • They need to control the taxi's (from the airport's taxi line-up) from raising the fare unjustly and cheating the tourists. My fare was raised 3 times after arriving my destination. The driver asked for more money, gave me back less change and even took back some change from my hand.
        • I fly to and from this airport on the regular basis and it never fails to disappoint. Traffic around the airport faces people who park on the x actual road so as not to pay for car park, thus imparing traffic. Security staff are rude and unprofessional. Not chewing gum or using their phones whilst checking passports or suitcases would be a start! Toilet seats are disgusting and you'll be lucky if the soap dispensers dispense any soap at all. Announcements are made with the most unpleasant, high pitched voice. Monitors never tell you how much your flight is delayed. I have done my fair share of travelling and used many imports wordwide. This is
        • Nice modern airport but not the easiest to depart from as approach signage needs very observant monitoring, particularly if you are trying to return a car hire. If you're not familiar and particularly if you are traveling alone, be very familiar with your gps. The " Duty Free" store in departure area is grossly overpriced.
        • Big, clean and cozy. Lots of seats and a beautiful piano to play while waiting for your flight.
        • No ventilation on a 28-degree day. 1 restaurant which closes on weekends and 2 places i.e. Paul's and a local chain which are far from being appealing. And the duty free and shops are closed by 8pm. I expect something more from the airport of one of the biggest cities of France. And yes, lots of seats and plugs for charging your phone. Whilst I sweat my 4 euro small San Pellegrino water bottle...
        • La Croix du sud business lounge - paid extra for the lounge. Only snacks available and no wine! When we asked they said there wasn't any and hadn't had for two days, the staff were smirking and couldn't careless. The only good point was it was empty, I wonder why!
        • I use TLS a few times every month. I like the free WiFi, the plentiful seating and mains power sockets. The layout is fairly intuitive and feels open/spacious. There is a children's play area in the check-in area. The shops/restaurants are pricey and the airport could use a wider variety of shops/products. Once you go through security, there are free water dispensers in the toilets, but these are not always working and bottled water is pricey. In general, Toulouse Blagnac is a good airport.
        • This is easily the worst experience I've had in an airport this year. I dealt with an irrationally angry security agent who seemed to have taken it personally that I forgot to take the completely rule-abiding liquids out of my bag. Then the passport control took so long they kept having to funnel people to the front of the line who were going to miss their flights. Eventually I became one of those people. Then the Ryanair folks completely bungled our boarding process and generated quite a few angry passengers. I'm just gonna take the train next time.
        • Lovely, spacious, clean airport. Passenger Assistance needs a shake up. No one at the front desk but in an office behind. Good service though one it all kicked in though
        • Nice airport with swift security and plenty of seating. The security area has a long counter allowing you plenty of time to prep your bins for security. There's a lounge airside that's available for those with a Priority Pass card.
        • Unfortunately I have to fly often through this terrible airport. Everything that can go wrong will go wrong there. Delays are frequent. Lines are long. Suitcases get lost. Incompetence, laziness and bad manners are the main attributes of the airport staff. Also if you are picking up someone and you want to find out if their flight is on-time or will be delayed? Don't bother checking their website. It's never up today. Use a flight tracker instead.
        • Limited amount of duty-free shops. It’s really hard to find good presents. And most items are overpriced.
        • Great experience at this small airport with fast security checks on arrival and departure - on leaving we had just 1 person ahead of us for airport security! The arrival and departure buildings are right next to each other. There is little to do inside but they have a few shops outside. Car rental pick-up is across the road in the multi-storey car park building
        • The terminal has a nice and simple layout. Experienced a very long boarding (and it’s started one hour before departure) for an easyJet flight to Venice with only one bus that went back and forth from the gate to the airplane.
        • It is now 10pm, 23rd December. My family and I were supposed to take off now... We have been stuck in queue number 3 for 40 minutes, it is 45 degrees and there is nowhere to buy a bottle of water. There was nowhere to eat when we got into the airport and were told we would find something after the security checks. Well, there was one shelf with sandwiches and pasta and for three people, the bill came up to 38 Euros. The staff were unpleasant and unhelpful.
        • Moody staff. Tiny selection of shops, and the bar is a self serve with €6 Heineken or quarter bottle wine of for €15. I've been to municipal airports with more facilities.
        • Easy to get to this airport thanks to tram line. There are self-service ticket offices, or transport agency Tisseo. Quick to buy ticket(s), or make a transport card. Airport is clean, many places to rest, and to charge gadgets.
        • The airport is spacious with enough opportunities. In the check in zone is also children playing area. Outside is located a lot of rental car groups. Shuttle bus or tram are also very close for the foot walk. Parking area is large and promising. All in all very attempting and still in progress and development
Edit - turns out they just have very, very bad signage - the waiting area opens up considerably into a more modern setup with lots of restaurants and shops - but without knowing its there, you wouldn't go looking for it. We only realised when our gate came up and wasn't in the immediate vacinity we started to follow the other gate signs which is when we came across the new section.
        • Easily accessible airport, though not very organized. Long queues at the baggage drop zones with very few staff members. The stores are extremely expensive. At least we got an airbridge and a nice view of Airbus' FAL aircrafts such as A350, A330neo and more.
        • The terminal is relatively small and immigration is not well managed with staggered booths to inspect passports which creates confusion and queues going down at different rates causing arguments and frustration between fellow travellers. I would avoid travelling through Toulouse airport again.
        • Easily accessible airport, though not very organized. Long queues at the baggage drop zones with very few staff members. The stores are extremely expensive. At least we got an airbridge and a nice view of Airbus' FAL aircrafts such as A350, A330neo and more.
        • Very spacious, lots of places to sit and rest before your flight. Could do with a few more varied eating outlets, but what is there is good. As all airports the prices are higher than normal. Signage is good and makes it easy to find your way around. Good selection of taxis and shuttles outside.
        • This airport is open and roomy but needs some work with the signage, some of the water fountains don’t work, and the new terminal is uncomfortably hot even when the temperate outside is only 14 degrees Celsius.
        • Most efficient and friendly security I have ever been though. As a family of four, two adultsand two kids 14 and 8, we were able to use the family line and went to the front of queue. Security was very quick, friendly to the kids and spoke English. Absolutely a breeze Speaking of breeze, we were dying for one. I had to deduct a star because of the unbearable heat in the terminal (gates 50-59) Holy Moses.
        • Nightmare airport. Loads of building work going on. Next to nowhere to eat, no bar, no restaurant. Poor signage. Overpriced. Good to see they got their priorities right and finished the obligatory snake pass shopping before anything else. Will try not to go back again before the work is finished at the end of the year!!
        • A seamless stress free experience from start to end. Arriving at Departures takes you straight to security which is roomy with polite, efficient and happy staff. Good selection of refreshments. No queues at passport control and sofas at boarding gates. One of the most pleasant airport experiences I've ever had, bravo!
        • Just not well laid out. All available space seems to be given to "duty free" so you go through immigration pre getting to gate areas. Gate areas hot, overcrowded and with very limited facilities. Advice must be to delay going through immigration as long as practically possible
        • Completely inadequate as an international airport. It is hot and stuffy, just short of suffocating to death. People sitting and sleeping on the floor because there is not enough space. Coffee machine not working at the only drinks shop at the boarding gate. Chilled drink from the refrigerator is not chilled at all. There are very few shops. Haven't been to France for a while. Hope this is not the standard of airports in France.
        • Not a good airport! Probably like a sauna in the summer, no air conditioning and long walks to anywhere. The lack of any signage for my car hire return resulting in experimental repeat journeys until in desparation I aimed for Hertz and deep within the car park, behold a sign!
        • I put a 5 euro bill into the trolley during safety check and a woman from the staff stole it. After complaining a man from the safety staff asked her to give it back and finally I had my money back. Additionally they gave me advise to be more careful. BE CAREFUL AT SAFETY CHECK: some staff there is thief
        • Signs say that there is shopping and resturantion after passport control. This is wrong... There is a silly little bar that had run out of sandwiches at 12.30 but did serve warm beer! Apart from that, it's a lovely airport.
        • Food selection poor. Not enough seating. Shops not very big. Clean and efficient though.
        • Very little choice of food, strange layout and lots of walking. Seemingly no air-conditioning. really poor airport despite looking modern.
        • Watch out for the Norovirus at this airport! Looks modern and clean from the outside, but the food and coffee near the gates was absolutely horrible. Toilets near gate 55 were not clean. On a busy day like Sundays in August they are not making an extra effort. If this was a cruise ship it would not be allowed into the port.
        • seems daft reviewing an airport but i think the reviews saying its boiling are over the top. if you're going via easyjet go all the way round where there's loads more room and it's perfectly fine. it was 32C when i was there the other day and it was fine. as others have said though not much choice for food and drink.
        • Too long waiting time for luggage to arrive. Too long waiting time for passport control. Toilets are far too small and mostly not clean! Parking too expensive. Reservation of car parking on internet is cumbersome. Air conditioning needs improvement. The new shopping area is inappropriate. Why forcing everybody through the shopping area? The new security control is well organized and works well.
        • If your flight is not delayed, if there is not a lot of people waiting at the security point, then this airport is pretty straight forward and very fine. Otherwise, if your flight is delayed then your nightmare starts : it will be the case for other flights and you get queues and loads of people. And there is not enough food shop for all people, same for drinks. And the customs queue would be a nightmare. It happened to me several times , especially when traveling at nights to London I don’t particularly enjoy this location.
