Users Assigned: KazmiSitges is one the most visited towns in the East coast. In the winter time it is very calm, but in the summer time it attracts thousands of people attracted by its wild nightlife and trendy bars. The seafront is 3kms long next to a beautiful golden sand beach. Although in the winter it is very quite, it brings people from all over the world for Carnaval and for the International Fantasy Film Festival.
The main beach is divided by breakwaters and it starts from the Església de Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla to the Club de Golf Terramar. All along the waterfront you find beautiful mansions which have been very well preserved. -

Users Assigned: KazmiReims has an old Roman arch still standing from the 3-4th centuries and is the oldest monument in Reims called the Porte de Mars or "Mars Gate" so called as it is adjacent to a temple to the Roman god Mars. It is 108 feet in length and 43 feet in height, consisting of three archways flanked by columns.
The Reims Cathedral (built in the late 13-14 centuries) where all the French kings were crowned (including Joan of Arc) has over half a million visitors each year. Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Reims is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
There is a large open walking street area called Place Drouet d'Erlon in the city center which contains many restaurants and bars, as well as several statues and fountains. This is where the nightlife apparently happens.
Iin March of 2010, there were many torn-up streets due to the installation of a new streetcar tram system, the first streetcar tram for this small city of almost 200,000. Avenue de Laon was almost impassible by our tour bus and was down to 1 lane with one-way traffic towards downtown. Even the large park downtown (which has many tree-lined parking lanes) was torn up for installing the tram system. Hopefully it will make things more efficient when this major project is completed.
Reims is a very quick drive or train stop away from the heart of the Champagne Regional hub of Épernay and is a good place to take day-trips into the champagne-producing vineyards of France. The other historical sites and architecture, along with its proximity to the famous Champagne Region make Reims a great place to visit!
