LuganoLugano is the largest town of the Italian-speaking canton of Ticino. It is situated on the shore of lake Lugano, where the river Cassarate reaches the lake, between the mountains of Bre and San Salvatore (both these mountains can be reached by cable lifts).

My wife and I visited over the Easter weekend and fell in love with Bellagio and Lake Como. The hotel is excellent for the price you pay. It may be 2 stars but it does those 2 stars very well and I could not fault them for their friendliness and accommodating attitude to us as guests. The rooms are small but perfectly functional and clean with excellent views if you choose a lake view. Breakfast is basic and continental by definition but plentiful setting you up for the day ahead. I would highly recommend the hotel and I would happily rebook and return to Bellagio for a second visit.

Wonderful staff who always endeavour to give of their best. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are light, bright, airy and spotlessly clean. Views of the lake are amazing. Location couldn't be better. A wonderful place for a holiday. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

What can I say. If you want to be in the best location this is the hotel. Great service, room beautiful overlooking the Lake.

Very nice experience in every aspect, except the wifi. It basically did not work for our entire visit. Otherwise, the hotel was excellent. Great location, wonderful views, and the rooms were spacious and clean. I would recommend, and stay there again.
