• The Royal Automobile Museum متحف السيارات الملكي

  In Amman we still have the royal automobile museum which was established in two thousand and three upon king Abdullah’s wishes. It is located next to Al Hussein public parks and it showcases a rare collection of Jordan’s vehicles that range from Hussein bin Ali’s cars that came to Amman in them 1916 to the modern sports cars.
  
  This museum has the rover that is used in filming of Hollywood’s movie called the Martian which is used in the Jordan’s UNESCO world heritage site wadi Rum as the backdrop of the Martian scenes. This rover was gifted to Jordan in return for the hospitality in which Jordan received the cast crew.
  
  This royal automobile museum displays more than seventy classic cars and motorbikes which are from the private set of King Hussein. The final display is of suitably dusty rally cars that is a neat rejoinder to the polish and chrome of the rest of the vehicles.

• The Children's Museum

  Another most interesting place to visit in Amman is the Children’s Museum. It was launched in the year 2007 and it is a member of the Association of Children’s Museum. The museum is designed where kids can also perform practical activities. It contains a number of areas where both young and adults can perform different activities and know about many things such as the functionality of the human body to rainbows and lasers.

• Mecca Mall

  Mecca mall is one of the largest and most modern shopping centers in Amman and Jordan at large. It is located along Mecca Street in close proximity to City Mall.

• Bourj Al Hamam Restaurant

  Burj Al Hamam is a Lebanese restaurant located along Islamic College Street on InterContinental Hotel.
  
  Some of the Lebanese meals offered include different types of sea foods such as Arayess, Shanklish, Kibbeh Nayeh, Kebbeh Sajieh and fillets among others.

  Qasr al-'Abd or Qasr al-Amir is an archaeological palace located in Jordan, about half a kilometer south of the town of Amir al-Amir, 35 km west of Amman. It dates back to the Hellenistic period in the second century BC (ie between 187 and 175). It was built by Harkanus, who is linked by the scholars of the Antiquities with the family of Tobiah the Ammonite mentioned in the Torah, although the inscriptions do not mention this. Hercanus lived in the reign of King Selcius IV. The scholars explain that Iraq here is either to resemble the palace in the cave or because the area is full of caves because the word "Iraq" means "caves" in the mountains, which is identical to the geography of the region. This use is not geographically located in the region. The palace is 38 meters long and 18 meters wide. The second floor was not completed because Harkanos, who built it, committed suicide because of the threat of the Saluki army to the area. The palace features statues above it, black and black eagles, some of them opposite and some of them are trenches. قصر العبد أو قصر عراق الأمير هو قصر أثري يقع في الأردن على بعد نصف كيلو متر جنوب بلدة عراق الأمير التي تبعد 35 كم غرب مدينة عمان. يعود تاريخه إلى العصر الهيلنستي في القرن الثاني قبل الميلاد (أي بين عامي 187 و 175). وقد بناه هركانوس الذي يربطه دارسو الآثار بأسرة طوبيا العمونية الواردة في التوراة مع أن النقوش لا تذكر ذلك. وعاش هركانوس هذا في عهد الملك سلقوس الرابع. ويفسر الدارسون بأن عراق هنا إما أن تكون تشبيه القصر بالكهف أو لأن المنطقة تعج بالكهوف كون لفظة عراق تعني، مما تعنيه بالعربيّة، الكهوف في الجبال وهو وصف مطابق لجغرافية المنطقة، ويرد هذه الاستخدام بغير موضع جغرافي في المنطقة كعراق الدب في عجلون. يبلغ طول القصر 38 مترا وعرضه 18 مترا. وأحيط القصر بحوض كانت توصل إليه المياه من الينابيع المجاورة، يوجد لهذا القصر مدخلان: شمالي وجنوبي؛ ويتألف من طابقين استعمل الطابق السفلي منه للخزين وقاعات للحرس أما الطابق الثاني فلم يكتمل بناؤه لأن هركانوس الذي قام ببنائه انتحر بسبب تهديد الجيش السلوقي للمنطقة. يتميز القصر بالتماثيل التي تعلوه منها، لنسور وأُسود بعضها متقابل وبعضها متدابر.لتدل على قوة هركانوس .
