• Kilkenny

The Normans arrived in the twelfth century and their legacy remains in the superb and fully restored Kilkenny Castle, and in the thriving and cosmopolitan merchant city. Kilkenny offers a unique selection of historic sites and buildings from the 7th century onward reflecting a tradition of monastic settlement and gracious living.
  
  Kilkenny is very accessible with trunk roads passing through the county to Dublin, the south and west of Ireland. Kilkenny city is on the direct railway line from Heuston Station in Dublin with connections to Waterford and Rosslare.

  Great setting. Attention to detail in the rooms was lovely. Staff were very friendly. Only downside was the hotel was under renovations mainly the restaurant and the spa and we would have postphoned our trip to when the renovations would have been complete had we been given adequate notice.

  I thought it was good but it turns out to be nice. There was a used needle on the roof out side are window it was removed quickly. But the next night we had a go over to get our dinner on the other side of the road where a lot of cars going very fast and there was no ramp for my welled chair

  Recently redecorated to a high standard, friendly and helpful staff . Food in restaurant good quality though on the night of our meal service was poor and some of the food was cold. Kellys restaurant was very good with lots of choice and nice ambience. The leisure centre nice and good standard overall we enjoyed pur stay and would recommend it to family and friends

  Went for 2 days away with my boyfriend. The minute we set eyes on the place we loved it! Its a gorgeous hotel. A girl called Stacey was on front desk she was very helpful and made us feel welcome. The room was amazing and the bed is without a doubt the most comfortable either of us have ever slept in.. It made it harder leaving the hotel leaving the bed behind. The room was nice and warm. We got breakfast both mornings and we're delighted with it both times. Can't put in words how happy we were leaving and we will be back for sure. Only downfall is we couldnt bring the bed home.

  Right in centre of the town indoor parking. Fantastic coffee dock up on seperate level. Good spot for meetings
