Get a bus, thats a long journey, any reason you are not just hopping on air asia? only a 1.5 hour flight, take you the best part of 24 hours via car/bus.

I see, it really is a long trek, driving to cambodia itself is not too bad poi pet border i mean, but driving from poi pet to pp will be hellish mate, roads are insane not to mention the time it will take, your dog certainly will not enjoy it, better off leaving your dog with a friend etc for a day or so until your back.

I guess you are right, it will be hell for the 7yr old. Flights from BKK is not that expensive and it's also quite short. I guess I have no choice but to send the dog on his own.

Nok air do some kind of transport I was reading, I would post a post on the thaivisa.com forum and see if you have any other options going, those guys know it all, one good thing you have a bit of time to sort it out so I am sure it will all work out well, good luck!

Thank you. I think my only option will be Thai smile. Flights will be a bit more than AirAsia but dog hopefully can travel as excess baggage.
