• Colombo

  Colombo, Sri Lanka's largest city, a beehive of commotion with more than a million inhabitants.The capital city of Srilanka with it's frenetic traffic and general chaos is a little too much for most to handle but Colombo is, however, worth a look, offering color and some interesting attractions, like the national museum, the Pettah bazaar and some lovely temples.

  What is especially enjoyable is the variety of cuisine that can be sampled at any one of the city's plentiful bars, restaurants, sidewalk cafes and kiosks.
  
  Adding to Sri Lanka’s natural and cultural heritage will be a breathtaking line up of first-time events that are sure to mesmerize even the most seasoned traveler.

• Kalutara

  Kalutara is a major city located along the western coast of Sri Lanka. It belong to the western province and is the main city in the District also named Kalutara. The Main attraction in Kalutara is the "Kalutara Bodiya" or Temple. Venerated by Buddhists it is considered as a place of worship with prime importance. The temple itself is segregated into two divided by the Galle Road ( Colombo - Galle). As a practice all travelers going south , stop to make a donation and evoke blessings for a safe travel when passing the Kalutara Bodiya.
  
  Kalutara is a multi ethnic town with a fair share of churches and mosques. The "Kalu" Ganga/River one of the Five major Rivers in Sri Lanka Falls to the Sea from Kalutara thus giving the name to the city. The "moya kata" or the estuary is a highly visited place in the area, it is clearly visibly the large mass of fresh water mixing with the sea water creating a glamorous aura.
  
  Fishing and Tourism are two of the main income generators in Kalutara itself (Kalutara North & South). Although the beaches are not as popular as the ones further down the southern coast of Sri Lanka, a plethora of tourist hotels have spawned in the past to take advantage of both the Sea & the river , a combination which is not so common.

• Negombo

  Negombo located beside the shores of a lagoon with the same name once Portugese and Dutch traded by this port. It is also an ideal place and quick access for those who wish to have immediate access from and to the airport. the old Dutch fort gate that was built in 1672 which is now a part of the prison, the Dutch Canal are the attractions of the city which was then a supply route to the Dutch administration, old churches and fishing villagers. The 100km long canal running through the town is still being used and is an attraction for those who wish to see the country from a different point of view.
  
  The stretch of road towards Kotchchikade comes to life at dusk (most shops are open at daytime too) with many handicrafts and curio shops, gem shops, restaurants and internet cafes catering for tourists.
