• Kovalam

  Kovalam is Kerala state's most famous beach and a major tourist attraction, situated about 16 kilometers from Trivandrum, capital of Kerala state in India.
  
  There are three beaches named Samudra Beach, Hawa Beach and Light House Beach. The three are separated by rocky headlands. These are very scenic beaches.
  
  The seaside eateries are in place serving Indian and continental food.
  
  The most popular beach of the three is Lighthouse Beach aptly named for the big 35 meters high lighthouse situated on a hillock at the southermost end. Many small hotels, shops and restaurants are located at this beach, and is most frequented by international tourists.

• Thiruvananthapuram

  Trivandrum, now known as Thiruvananthapuram, is the capital city of the state of Kerala. It is located on the south western tip of the country - very close to Kanyakumari, which is the southernmost tip of India.
  It is the most populated city in the state of Kerala and boasts of several beaches in its proximity. The famous Kovalam beach is about an hour's drive from Trivandrum city. Varkala, another lesser known beach is an hour north of Trivandrum and provides a very scenic and therapeutic environment.
  The city has a relatively hot and humid climate year round with monsoons first announcing their arrival into India around June.
  
  Trivandrum also has several ayurvedic and yogic centers and is famous for its ayurvedic massages. The main areas in Trivandrum city are Statue Junction and Palayam.
  
  Kerala is a conservative state and so nightlife is almost non existent in the city of Trivandrum. But Cochin, which is a 5 hour drive from Trivandrum provides some avenues for entertainment and late night partying.
  
  The best way to get around Trivandrum is by auto (tuk-tuk). The autos run on meters which are based on the distance traveled and are fairly reasonably priced.

  Disgusting place!! Ac doesn't function, glass window of the bathroom is broken ,tap doesn't work,hotel doesn't provide drinking water! Our stay was just a waste of money !

  It was a very nice time in India! :) The hotel was nice and the service was perfect! The people were courteous and very helpful! nice rooms, nice view! The hotel is highly recommended !!!

  Awesome hotel few steps above the famous Light House Beach .We have Deluxe Room with common Sea view balcony .. The balcony is the prime USP of this property .You can spend hours after hours here watching sea waves . The room is okayed ..a.c needs to be changed ..less cooling ..Hotel is cleaned ..The receptionist Mr Rahul is very helpful and nice gentleman ..He also gives us permission for using hotel roof top to watch sun set ..You have to walk 3 minutes to reach this hotel .. Overall good budget hotel and excellent for sea viewing .

  Great spot right on the beach. Non ac rooms are fine. Great chairs on the balcony. Malabar restaurant at hand
