• Subang Jaya

  Subang Jaya is a middle to upper class housing area in Selangor, Malaysia. You will only find houses, houses and more houses. This place used to be palm plantations some 30 years ago. Commonly known as Subang or SJ but do not confuse with Subang airport. The Subang airport is not located in Subang Jaya.
  
  Subang Jaya is often outshined by its neighbours such as Sunway and Puchong in terms of food and entertainment. Nonetheless, some places offer excellent various type of food. One commonly known food paradise among the locals is Taipan USJ. Some of the shopping malls in Subang Jaya is Subang Parade, the newly-opened Empire mall,USJ summit and the new USJ19 digital mall. Subang Jaya is only 5 minutes away from Sunway Lagoon or Sunway pyramid. There are several hypermarkets - Carrefour, Giant and Mydin. There is a nice park called Lakeview located next to Federal highway. Subang Jaya Medical Center (SJMC)is right next to the park.
  
  So one of the reason you found yourself reading this descrption is either you have a family/friend living in Subang Jaya or you are a Malaysian looking for a good place to eat in Subang Jaya. To get to Subang Jaya, take a KTM train or a bus from KL. The KTM commuter station has the same name as the city. It's relatively easy to take a Metro bus from Puduraya or Rapid KL bus from Pasar Seni.

• Selangor

  The state capital is Shah Alam and the royal capital is Klang. A third major urban centre is Petaling Jaya which was awarded city status on 20 June 2006. Hence, Selangor is one of only two Malaysian states with more than one city.
  
  The traditional culture of Selangor's Malay majority is influenced by those of Bugis, Johor, Minangkabau, Mandailing and Javanese ancestry.
  
  Selangor's population also has Chinese and Indian influence; those two having larger minority populations
  
  The traditional Malay cuisine in Selangor has received influences from Johor, Bugis, Jawa and Minangkabau.
  
  Rojak Klang, Lontong Klang and Mee Bandung are famous cuisines in Klang (Note: Mee Bandung is also touted to have originated from Johor). Other famous dishes include Mee Jawa (which is similar to Mee Rebus in Johor), Satay Kajang, Ketam Darul Ehsan and Sayur Masak Rebung.
  
  Klang bak kut teh is famous among the Chinese population. It is a herbal pork soup which is eaten during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  
  Coastal towns such as Klang and Kuala Selangor are also famed for seafood.

• Klang

  Klang is one of the oldest towns located southwest in the state of Selangor. It was a tin mining town that the two local chieftains, Raja Abdullah and Raja Mahadi, fought over. Klang is known as a royal town for it is home to the state's sultanate and its ancestors.
  
  It is located about 32 km to the west of Kuala Lumpur and 6 km east of Port Klang, one of the busiest ports in the world. It was the civil capital of Selangor in an earlier era before the emergence of Kuala Lumpur and the current capital, Shah Alam.
  
  Klang is home to cheap seafood, delicious banana leaf rice meals and the "bak kut teh".

The city embraces the concept of an intelligent garden city and showcases the best of Malaysian architectural design in an environmentally-friendly setting of beautifully landscaped lakes and parks.
  
  The city was named after Malaysia’s First Malaysia Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra. Together with an area covering 4,931 hectares, Putrajaya is situated 25 kilometers from the capital city of Kuala Lumpur in the north and 20 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at Sepang in the south.
  
  The prime areas in Putrajaya City are divided into precincts and consists of government offices, as well as commercial, residential and recreational areas.

  -Attitude of some faculty’s staff & management are bad, eg. divert the responsibilities to others and this cause the process become insufficient in processing students’s requests or documents. -No CGPA stated in the result slip every semester. This bring lot more of inconvenience to students -The counsellor were irresponsible to do what she had promised and caused the students suffered with loss.

  Amazing place to do Dentistry. Dental students here gets world class training. Contemporary teaching techniques are handled to teach in a better way. Apart from theory classes, the are exposed to field work, entrepreneurship, organize events and practical exposures more than the MDC requirement.

  I study here, and I know a majority wish they weren't here. It's just an okay university with cheaper fees. A lot of bad experiences here. Facilities are below average. Wide divide among the quality of students and lecturers. Some are awfully bad while a small handful are outstanding. Reason? Low entry requirements. It is a business more than a learning institution. Certain faculties like medicine, early childhood education, dentistry and optometry produce good students but please do not consider the other courses, e.g. engineering. Do not be fooled to think you have good grades if you get a place here. They accept almost anyone with a cert.
