• Bandung

  Bandung is the capital of West Java, Indonesia. It is located on a higher elevation about 180 kms southeast of Jakarta. There is a connecting flight from Jakarta or Bali to Bandung, but it is more fun to get to the city by land. Either you drive (2 hours from Jakarta via the highway) or take a train (3 hours from Jakarta) you will be entertained with views of ricefields, rivers, and small towns in West Java.
  
  The mountain range that surrounds Bandung make the climate of the city is cooler compared to other places in tropical Indonesia. Bandung hosts a wide range of natural scenery, including massive tea plantations, dormant volcanoes, and hot springs. Bandung is also well known for Sundanese arts and folklore. While you can enjoy Bandung natural and historic places during the day, you can certainly kick back and relax in the evening with Bandung's irresistible nightlife and food. Both travelers and residents are fans of the variety of food in Bandung.
  
  Bandung known as "Paris Van Java". It called Paris because of this city become a center of fashion. Nowadays, Bandung is one of shopping paradise in Indonesia. Because Bandung has many shops (Factory Outlet) that sell clothes and other accessories with a fairly cheap price with good quality. You can find it in almost at every point of a crowd in the city of Bandung, which is in Dago Street, Cihampelas St, Merdeka St, and many more. Do not miss the opportunity to shop when you are in Bandung. Also if you want to shop some fashion clothes then you should go to Cihampelas street as one of very famous street and well known in Bandung.
  
  Not only places for shopping, there is also Forest Park near to the main city. It is a tourism places you can be visited. In this forest park there are 2 caves. Goa Jepang (the cave where the Japanese hid during the World War 2, Goa Belanda, Lembang (strawberry fields), Tangkuban Perahu mountain, etc.

  Go to Explore of the nature landscape in the south of bandung like beautiful hills and White crater( Kawah Putih )from the mountain, And also there is a huge lake with the beautiful scenery "Situ Patenggang" in the southern of bandung as well and it will take about 1 hour to go by car from the bandung downtown.

  Fantastic location, the view really is beautiful. The restaurant is pretty cheap and a nice place to relax for a while, although we avoided the coffee. I went expecting rides, like an adventure park, but the rides are just photo poses where you hang over a small ledge and they use a telephoto lens to make it look like you're way up high. The sky bike was the best of them, where you are actually pretty high, but it's still just going out to the photo spot then being pulled back in by a rope. All in all the photo poses would be kind of fun, except the queues were awful. The sky swing queue was two hours long!! For a 2 minute photo session, then they charge you 10,000rp per photo on the way out. We went there and made the best of it, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you really want the photos badly enough to wait in queues most of the day.

  I didn't feel any happier by visiting the site. It is fairly new tourism place. Not many chairs and seats available hence tiring for those who walked around a lot. Toilets? Not clean enough. Other than the tenants area, everything is fine.

  Its a nice place to view the hills and trees with natural vibe. They also serve food and accomodation. But because many people come and litter the place became stinky. They also have some good places to take photos like a hanging swing and hanging bicycle but you need to pay again for the photos ticket. The entry ticket costs 20k rupiah.

  Has one of the best views of nature in Bandung. Lots of interesting spots to take pictures. However the road to get there was terrible with lots of potholes. But the journey there was well repaid with exquisite views and a unique experience.

  went there on weekend. it's crowded, the parking lot is full. the place itself is so so. not bad yet not memorable enough. the good thing is the air is fresh and you get free drink
